We have a special guest for this week's Force On Force Fridays!
We ran World Champion Professional Paintball Player Matty Marshall through some force-on-force scenarios to see if his paintball training and tactics translate well to civilian scenarios.
Here’s a look at some of them.
Check it out!

For the tournament paintball players you IMMEDIATELY recognize how he plays the edge of the bunker, the set up to "bunker" the other guy, the inclination to trade, the constant level changes, etc. It's pretty funny seeing that carry over into a real gun fight.

As a Canadian paintball is the only way for me to get actual force on force training. Good to see the skills transfer.

Awesome video thanks for including the paint ballers! Years of time on the field has given me movement and gun shooting skills along with the adrenaline rush always makes me a little more confident in my abilities which isn’t always a great thing but Marty’s shooting and moving skills definitely showed through here! Manipulating cover and shooting practice is key!

Been a paintball fan for a long time, but also a tactical nerd. Cool to see a legend like Matty Marshal lay it down with some real force on force training.

Not sure if you guys do this but you should give your hostiles a (secret) amount of hits they should be taking before they go down. Its pretty common that it takes multiple shots to take down a target.

cool to see paintball being put to a test through a firearms training simulation and i play alot of magfed lately these past years and this was awesome too see as i was just scrolling to find something interesting, but 12:01 paintball skill getting into action! It has to be someone that's been in a situation like that before (yes its a test not live) but to anyone with that amount of force on force can easily put to work a pistol or firearm..., even for their first try!! man that was fucking cool! inspired i am simply inspired. thanks you guys on reaching out to a sport i love dearly and play often, cheers!

this was a good one the paintballers are far more aggressive and the force guys are more tentative because of life and death vs games, but in the game scenario the paintballers might have it.

You know Matty would have tried to bunker that guy with a PGP (old school reference). Credit to the snapshots, level changes, and using the environment smartly.

2:03 I absolutely love that peak 🤣🤣 Not the smartest thing to do when bullets can pass through your cover (the drywall), but, it's a habit from paintball 3:34 I kinda agree with him not calling out to the person, he had enough self-control that he didn't just shoot the second he saw the guy, he waited till a hand came up and was leveled at him to shoot, so he probably wouldn't have shot a supposed loved one, and he didn't give up the advantage of the drop, as a home defense situation, you have no reason to call out to someone illegally entering your home without announcement. Also, yes, probably good to get on with 911, but, if you're the only defender, you need to focus on what you're doing with the gun and not have your second hand dealing with a phone. You're less stable with a pistol using just one hand, more likely to miss, missing can cost you your life.

I wouldn't say that peak is a "paintball habit". It looks like he's using an actual military tactic called "slicing the pie"
@Nate_the_Nobody
@Nate_the_Nobody 2 жыл бұрын
@@arturoperez6473 it's specifically how he leaned out for visibility for a second then was right back to cover, had there been someone to shoot at him there, when he went back to "cover" someone could have just sent rounds through the wall and got him. Something you don't have to account for in paintball is "will this concealment stop rounds".

Hi can you please tell me what a training plan should look like I mean what's the sequence first go to the range then warm up then main drills etc please tell me
@toshiro858
@toshiro858 2 жыл бұрын
HI M, the question is, what are you training for? If it purely self defense. Short period of dry fire Work the fundamentals Then then start working 1 handed shooting both dominate and nondominate Shoot from non standard shooting position. Combine movement with the non standard positions Learn, understand and purpose of ecceptible sight picture and instinctual shooting are. Then practice both then combine them with movement and nonstandard shooting positions. I recommend doing this dry then with air soft. After Many hours over time go live with a good RSO that understands what you are trying to accomplish. Find a place that trains force on force. Then go back to the fundamentals to clean it up. In fact Start and finish with the fundamentals whenever possible. I hope this answers your question.

I think YT is throttling your channel because your subscriber to views and thumbs up is way too low. Maybe if you change the channel name to something like, "Democratic Hyve," or "Biden's the Best!" Nevermind, that felt wrong typing that.
