Shooting under a vehicle is not "outside the box" thinking. They did that back in the North Hollywood shootout in 1997 to end the second armored perpetrator, and that surely wasn't the first time someone thought to do that. Even kids do that in video games all the time.

Good tactics on Joe to get the edge. Gunfights don’t have to be “fair”, winning is all that matters. Glad the guy from Chicago is doing that, times are tough out there and that residents there may just very well need good gun fighting skills.

I've been doing some force on force, it's a whole different ballgame compared to shooting steel. Love these videos, keep it up guys. The force on force building clearing kicks ass too.

Force on force is the single best training tool you can use to test your skills as what you’ll do when rounds are going both ways is the best way to show you where you need to improve your tactics If you’ve committed to drawing that weapon, and you see your target, and you should not remove your sight picture from that target unless you have to. And shooting under a car is a tactic you might need to employ, I wouldn’t rule it out but know your limits and surroundings. Once your down, your down, most of us are not gymnasts and your not gonna spring up off the ground. You have put yourself in a less than idea defensive position at that point.

Notice how all the cool shooting stances and reloads disappear in Force on Force

People hardly ever see their sights in close quarter shootings, too---doesn't mean you shouldn't train to use your sights.

Also in kickboxing, MMA and Boxing inexperienced fighters will often break stance and swing sloppily/wildly during sparring. But when two pros spar they are alot more effective and fluid.

at such close ranges also be mindful of your shadow - if your enemy sees your shadow, by extension they can see you

Just a question do you have to have a special gun for the sim rounds or can I use my stock carry gun witch is a glock 19

We provide all the simunition gear at classes. Thx for posting

You can use many duty weapon platforms, but the conversion kits swap out the slides and barrels for Simunition-only parts. You can't shoot live rounds from a converted weapon so it helps to minimize the risk of training accidents. That's not the hard part though, they don't sell the Simunition rounds to civilians. Seems restricted to LE, military, and for training organizations.
