Awesome force on force training. Ive done simunition in shoothouses and airsoft in public buildings for active shooter and counter terrorism response and its fantastic training. Its a reality check because now rounds are flying back and targets are moving. I wish I could film our training but there are obvious reasons why we cant. Its nice to see Noir showing a peek into this level of training.

The thing about these scenarios is that the baddies crept into the house. If you're at home someone is going to have to break into your home. They are going to move around and all that makes some serious noise. It will give you some heads up. Additionally, intruders would not be familiar with the inside of your home especially in the dark. Pets, other family members or a security system plays into this as well.

This is why I love MilSim Airsoft CQB the rush you get from knowing potential "pain" is coming is pretty awesome. Simunition is a lot different though in how it feels. With Airsoft you may be sitting on an objective for hours with nothing happening, then guys are crawling out of rooms, windows, etc being breached. And your mind goes from coasting to 90mph. LOVE IT. That would be some awesome training as well.

Yeah for recreation airsoft is sort of better don't need enough protective gear and it's way cheaper than simunition rounds. Also if you have a decent airsoft gun it's effective to a further distance. Cheaters are the only thing that ruins it.

What were they shooting exactly? And how does it work? How bad does it hurt? And can the average person do this or is it expensive
@himawaricopter
@himawaricopter 4 жыл бұрын
@@liljackypaper Simunition rounds are basically paint bullets that are loaded into a specialized cartridge. You swap parts in a real firearm to conver it so that it can chamber sim rounds. So they do hurt more than airsoft or paintball because there is actual gunpowder propelling the sim bullet out of a real gun. Anyone can pay for sim training courses if you can find a school. Fees vary but a course would be on the order of a few hundred US dollars. You would probably just rent the equipment because it can be pretty expensive to buy it yourself.

When you guys were banging away at eachother at point blank... what was the shot to hit ratio? I used to do tourney paintball, and folks would be amazed at how many times they will miss when someone is "RIGHT IN FRONT" of them.

My only suggestion is strip down to pants/t-shirt/mask. You'll really learn how to utilize cover when you get hit by a sims and it splits the skin/you bleed. It ups the stakes/realism. Sure you may get a few small lacerations out the deal. But I guarantee you, you'll utilize cover more effectively because you won't want to get hit. Just like if they are shooting real bullets at you.

It depends it can be as little as $100 for an hour or $200. Usually military personnel are charged less. But as a civilian, expect to pay $100 to $150 he for this type of training. The instructor may charge cheaper for groups. 1 on 1 is always the most expensive. However, keep in mind this scenario is different if you live in per se an apartment

Siminition (think simulation ammunition) its kind of like a bullet that shoots a paint ball instead of a bullet... kinda. But the reason it had blow back and ejecting shells was because it uses actual cartridges. shell casings, gun powder, primer, and a projectile

ForceOnForce or Simunition Man....the first time I went to this kind of training was I thought it would hit like a regular paintball at 400-600fps. But man was I wrong. I had full gear & armor but OUCH MAN The guns are real, actual guns, but with their upper receivers + bolts changed with the ForceOnForce or Simunition ones. And the rounds actually use the real 9mm and 5.56mm casings, which is why they actually have recoil, given they still fire from the primer of the ammunitions. Friendly Tip: Prepare for the punching pain when you go for these training, they're not like paintballs.

They are using something called Simunitions. It's live rounds, but instead of a metal slug, it fires a small paint-soaked sponge. They hurt, bad. I'd rather get hit by one of the airsoft rifles you see over on SIlo. But the experience you can gain from Force On Force Training is invaluable.
