Why didn’t you splice the wires and just drill a hole centre to the pins and rejoin your wire instead of cutting the trailer up

I’ll tell you why… because when ever there is an electrical fault on anything the first place you look is the wiring for any splices and you know what 95% of the time there’s the fault! All I did then is make the trailer lighter 🤠👍👌✅
