Diana Sofia to me the puzzles, art style and story were what always made me love these games. Least we forget the characters too! The soundtrack also is very soothing. Though for Kat finding Layton I believe a movie would be best

Wasted away in a dying fading city with a fortune no one really cared about anymore, in a castle all alone aside from one servant, feared and cursed about by everyone as a monster and holding onto a grudge that was misplaced. All those years bitter and alone for nothing because of some money you don’t even use and misunderstood good intentions. Sophia said she regrets leaving that way. I wonder if she constantly wondered if keeping the baby a secret was a mistake or not.

Ngl i cried at the end of the game. It was so touching and the twist was epic. The story of Anton and Sophia was so adorable and tragic especially when they read the letter. Unwound/Lost was my first and favorite but P/D box was super touchinggT^T

I always thought the Don Paolo reveal would’ve been WAY better if it was Don Paolo all along, rather than his very obvious appearance in Dropstone. Because this was my first Layton game, it was very unexpected for me, but if you’d played curious village before then it was sorta obvious. Having Don Paolo disguised as Flora from the beginning would’ve been smarter, and also could’ve explained why “Flora” was tailing Layton and Luke.

Annika alright, I played this game several times so I can answer your question, but it's major spoilers!! So, what happened was that the town was a mining town but they accidently drilled into a vein of hallucinogenic gas, which started making the townspeople really sick. Sophia was pregnant at the time and didn't want to risk endangering the baby, so she left Anton, who was now the Duke of the town and couldn't leave. Hope that explains it for ya!

Isabelle A little late but it was because Antons father wouldn't allow him to leave Folsense, since he was the only family heir left in the town. Sophia didn't want to hurt Anton by telling him she was raising a child because he would never be able to live together with them.

Ponnchi Anton’s brother has clearly visited several times and judging by a comment “I can’t believe it’s been a year since he passed,” that he knew Sophia too. Maybe he tried to reconnect with Anton, but he imagined himself as a vampire and wouldn’t let anyone near the castle. Remember, they thought Anton died or vanished.

So like i just noticed something how exactly did don paolo cosplay as flora and to be fair my only problem is the hight he literally got smaller so somehow and i am not talking about his hair he in general is atleast half a meter larger than flora and managed to cosplax as her? Because imo the other characters (besides decan dalmona in lost future) seemed more logical i guess he can just transfor into any hight i guess and somehow shrink himself a bit or idk.
