@@relaxationandmedidation9708 studied isc2 cc for 2 months which helped me with some of the sec+ exam objectives then I studied for 2 months for sec+.

@@relaxationandmedidation9708 studied for 2 months. But I wrote the Cc exam prior to sec+ which helped me to understand alot of exam objectives from the sec+

I like the pivot to Net+ topics in investigating what happened with the outage. Didnt think you could find out as much as you could being on the outside of the google servers. Some of us still have yet to get our Net+ so this was good.

Ive pivoted from 601 to 701 I'm throughly enjoying the pivot, lol. guess its a matter of preference

I’ve been taking practice test and doing pretty good. My biggest pain point this far is remembering port numbers, specific commands, and examples of the different protocols. Are these details in the 701 version of the Security + test? Worth digging into prior to?

What text book do you recommend beside your note book for studying the 701? I have watched your videos, now getting your notes but i want to have also a text book to study from. Is there any particular one that is well explained and organized?

why are u trying to study the 601 instead of the 701 although 701 is easier?

@porttech7856 because its still valid and well documented. I doubt 701 is easier

@@ZeNex74 701 IS easier because of the changes to the objects as well as they have not released thousands of exam question variations since it's so new, 601 has gotten harder because of this. If you just started studying 601, you need to stop and start on 701! Do more research if you think I'm wrong. Just a heads up..

@renee0927 well bought 601 as normally the newer would be harder as not as much known and they tweak it it. Wouldn't normally make easier

It’s a known fact right now that 701 is easier. All of the exam questions and training materials are out there. Every 3 to 6 months they add more questions and different variations of the exam for it to be more challenging to pass if they see the passing rate is high. Do more research to state facts and stop saying what you doubt or think. Good look on your exam.
