There is promised to be a lesbian course in the future. We know of a few lesbians who might be willing to teach the course because I don’t think I’m the appropriate person for that class but it’s just a matter of fitting that into our production schedule and getting that lesbian to agree to do it.

One of my friends is Non-binary. When they came out to their parents, their dad went out to buy some "food." He bought a non-binary flag, a red velvet cupcake with rainbow frosting on it, and a card that was pink with yellow and blue flowers around the edges. The inside was still pink, but with lines to write on and blank other than that. He wrote them a note on the card and put the flag and note in their room. P.S, the cupcakes were for his boss's surprise birthday bbq at the park near his office. they were not for my friend. Also, he ordered them a binder on Amazon the next morning. P.S, I was at my friend's house for a sleepover and I had already known they were non-binary for 5 weeks at this point. I just got to witness them coming out to their parents and brother. P.S, her brother is openly gay and aromantic and has been out since March of 2017, and my friend came out in Augest of 2018.

I'm aromantic and a few days ago i encountered an aphobe which was funny to me because he was trying to invalidate me in a lego block game targeted at 5 year olds on their mom's smartphones while waiting in line for the cashier to be open. Who's the real loser here? (The answer is the guy)
@krayzeekat72793 жыл бұрын
once I had a fight with a homophobic 10 year old (yes, he literally told me) whether gays are good or not. He told me that anyone who is gay deserves to go to hell. He then labeled me (it was in his game and he had admin powers) quote on quote “I@ gay” (I am a bisexual, which tbh, he was close). I do have a screenshot of him saying that “I am going to marry a WOMAN like a normal CITIZEN would”. The thing that really triggered me was when I asked him where he got that “information”, HE THEN TOLD ME HE GOT IT FROM HIS F-CKING OLDER SIBLINGS. I REALLY HATE WHEN OLDER PEOPLE CORRUPT YOUNGER KIDS BY SPREADING MISINFORMATION, WHICH IS THE REASON WHY I AM STILL SCARED OF COMING OUT TO PEOPLE UNLESS THEY ARE MY CLOSEST FRIENDS OR PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY APART OF THE LGBTQ+! In all seriousness, the community of the lego block game is SH-TTY when it comes to discussion of LGBTQ+ people. Toxic players who play the lego game either uses there “sexuality” (most of them say they are “bi”, which is really annoying and damaging to the people who are actually bi, like me) to call people homophobic for killing/winning over them or they COMPLETELY go against it because their siblings/parents said so.

The age old question: is being (insert sexuality or gender here) a choice? I believe it is in a specific context. No, you can’t chose who you’re attracted to or how you feel about your gender, but you CAN chose which labels (or lack there of) you use to describe those feelings.
@zoesbabyalives56153 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly what I said, you don’t choose who you are, but you can choose how you ID yourself.
@Fernandanatac3 жыл бұрын
Although it’s technically true, it’s more complex than that. If you’re a man that only feels attracted to and only has relationships with men but don’t consider yourself gay… it doesn’t really matter, the whole world will see you as gay. And you’ll be treated by people based on their point of view on you, not the other way around. And if gay marriage it’s not allowed on your country, or if it’s illegal to be gay there… even if you don’t “label” yourself, those laws will still affect you.

I have a question about gay weddings ... In straight weddings, the man waits at the altar for the bride to be walked down and given away usually by her dad So in a gay wedding who walks to the altar? Do they just both stand there? Do they walk down together? Is the giveaway the bride excluded? Same for lesbians. Do they walk down together? Are they both given away to each other?

@PoweredByRainbows3 жыл бұрын
Well you can be asexual and bi at the same time. There are 7 spectrums of attractions from sexual, romantic, aesthetic, physically, mentally, and emotionally. All 7 of those are a spectrum so you could be asexual but still attracted to others romantically for just one example. Being ace doesn’t mean you can’t be in a relationship, since ace just describes one of your 7 attractions. If you’re romantically attracted to two or more genders, it might be best to describe yourself as asexual and biromantic so others can better understand right away but the label bi is a broad term or umbrella term that you can use. So of course you can be ace and bi at the same time.

I just discovered that I'm actually pan instead of bi, although I still think they are very similar, and will probably keep saying I'm bi to people outside the community as it's "easier" to understand ( -I also think the bi colors are cooler than the pan ones :c- )

Honestly, It's just my opinion, I'm bisexual, and I want to love this channel's content, but the host, sorry not to know your name, is quite entitled. I get you have a very strong, and in my opinion, correct opinion, but it's a very bad way to convert homophobes into actual supporters of the cause, and I would not show this video to an uninformed friend.

I have some doubts about non-binaries: If, for example, you have cis hetero man dating a non-binary person that’s biologically female would that make him bisexual? And if the non-binary person was biologically a male? When it comes to trans men or women, it’s simple. In this example I know that if he dated a trans woman he’d still be considered hetero. And if he decided to date a trans man, then he would be at least bisexual. But how do other people’s sexualities are affected by their relationship with a non-binary person? And the non-binary person’s sexuality itself (as long as it’s not bi, pan etc)? Because like… if you don’t consider yourself a man or woman how can you be hetero, gay or lesbian? I don’t want to offend anyone, sorry in advance if I said anything inappropriate, I’m just trying to understand.

The person wouldn’t be bi they would still be straight

If my partner came out as trans or non-binary, I would identify as bi or pan. At that point, I know that I am attracted to more than one gender. I would accept whatever sexuality the non-binary person picked. Some people just identify as queer, when it gets complicated.
@N08R76H2 жыл бұрын
If said cis hetero man was a trans man dating nonbinary person who is afab he would still be straight
@N08R76H2 жыл бұрын
You should say female/male aligned and not biologically male/female, there are many trans masc enbies who have a masc body but are still enbies, in a lot of those cases they are afab
@N08R76H2 жыл бұрын
If you are enby you can still be gay/lesbian Gay means anyone who is homosexual/anyone who isn’t straight Lesbian mean female’s who are attracted to other females or females aligned people who are attracted to other female aligned person

what i dont understand is why we keep making it longer, like, the plus is already there to account for other sexualities, it feels weird to cherry pick some and leave out others, like either just agree to stick with lgbtq+ which is already quite a mouthful or use another word right?

Quick question. If a trans man is in a relationship with a biologically born male, does this count as a “straight” relationship since the man was biologically born a female? Or not, because they identify as male? (Not asking in a offensive way, i’m just curious).
@syralessthanthree3 жыл бұрын
nope, trans man = always man so its gay never see trans people as their sex assign at birth, thats the whole point so trans girl and cis man would also be straight for example

Wee bit of a problem with the bisexual vs pansexual thing. To most of us the difference negligible and we just use whatever term we like better. I use bisexual because it’s easier to explain. (and i don’t have to deal with pan jokes)

@darkcloud96033 жыл бұрын
I think that the fact that the people are gay/lesbian exc doesn´t make the wedding better just because of their sexuality. Wedding and proposals are about love and accepting your partner. Event about love itself. So it straight or gay wedding doesn´t matter both weddings are incredible because they found someone they want to spend rest of their lives with.
