Yes, so do I. I love all the Hammer film versions of the character, including the third one from 1967, "Quatermass and The Pit."

Monty Python's Flying Circus did what looks like a parody of the Quatermass series in an episode called "You're No Fun Anymore". The sketch has alien blancmanges turn every Englishman into a Scot. Their plan is to win at Wimbledon, since Scots are reputed to be bad tennis players. Graham Chapman plays a scientist who exposes the alien's plot and a real Scotsman defeats the space creatures on the tennis court.

Yeah, that certainly sounds like something the troupe from Monty Python would do. The overall plot of the sketch reads like a hilarious send-up of Quatermass.
