tbh I, as a big OPM fan, find it fairly obvious that MUI Goku completely stomps CF Garou, Dragon Ball powerscaling has gotten so ridiculous at this point that anything beyond the Battle of Gods arc is just too insane to measure. We can't measure how much stronger Goku has grown since the Battle of Gods arc but the level will be unquantifiable. When Goku and Beerus were clashing with their fist it was going to turn the macrocosm into nothingness which is either high universal to low multiversal+ because in the Enma realm we can't see heaven which is as wide as the living universe that is expanding infinitely. The Other world is described to be a higher dimension than the mortal realm so it would be reasonable if the afterlife can hold over millions of heavens within it and there Goku could be hitting complex multiversal.

Pretty much does it multiple times in Super. Not only that but he starts throwing around heavy attacks intending to finish the fight. Garou and Saitama have nothing that can cover the growth from ssj1 to SSJBlue. Heck, even jumping from ssj1 to 3 might be enough to give Saitama a mean ass beating before he adapts. Normal super Saiyan God would be all it takes.

fun fact: in the manga when Goku was taking his battle with Gas literally across the universe leaping from planet to planet, he ended up leaving Gas on a planet which was across the universe, Gas was furious at being made fun of by Goku, he literally dashed through the universe at breakneck speed and even Whis said that he'll reach Planet Cereal in around 23 minutes. In fairness to Garou though, as a DBZ fan, the reason Moro nearly exploded may have also been due to the lack of the mindset needed for UI, since Vegeta is stated as unable to gain UI despite being fully capable of making an alternative. I could definitely see Garou being able to allow his body to move autonomously, since that is the end goal of *all* martial arts. It would be essentially like when Roshi tried to imitate UI in the manga to help Goku figure out how to *actually* do it. Even in that case though, Goku has enough hax options that the best Garou could hope for at that point is a draw.

My point was merely that, in the interests of a good fight, it is possible that Garou *could* copy Ultra Instinct, at least in terms of technique. I'm not gonna claim Garou could *win* from there, but the fight might have at least a bit of back and forth before Goku knocked him out, is my point.

Another thing that wasn't brought up. Garou's copy ability isn't instantaneous. We are shown in the Garou Satiama fight, that even though Garou was copying Saitama, he still couldn't keep up with Saitama's growth. If his copy was instant, then it wouldn't matter how fast Satiama's power was growing, he would just be at that level. This is important because of the gap mentioned. Goku is on a level that is such a ridiculous amount higher than Garou is, even if Garou was capable of copying Goku's full power, even with out seeing it, it would take so long for him to actually reach that full copied power, that Goku would still get bored and end the fight, LONG before he became a threat.

@omega joker Yes it's a canonical fact in dragon ball that characters caught off guard take damage from things they normally wouldn't have like Jiren one of the strongest dragon ball characters casually taking and dishing out beyond god of destruction levels of power and stated numerous times to be above God's of destruction got injured by a ki blast from 17 while off guard but that doesn't somehow invalidate all of his feats and statements. Except that's when they're off guard...if they're not off guard then his durability is universal and higher. I mean as explained in the video goku wouldn't be affected by the cosmic radiation as much and even if he would he would just finish the fight before it became a problem. Just because garou and Saitama can survive in space doesn't mean other strong characters have to for decades universal and higher characters have needed to breathe, Saitama and garou don't somehow create a new requirement to be considered universal or higher.

Here's a few points that I think were missed: When it comes to Garou's Cosmic Radiation, Goku would definitely be durable enough to fight for at least a little without feeling it, as regular people were able to withstand it without dying for a while and Goku is not a regular person. When Goku was fighting Android 20, he realized the Heart Virus was making him weaker and IMMEDIATELY tried to go full power to finish the fight. Even if his full power was weakened (Due to Garou's Cosmic Radiation), he would probably still be able to blitz Garou if he realized the fight was life or death because of the sheer gap in power. Garou's power growth during the battle was multiple times slower and less potent than Saitama's power growth, and Saitama's power growth is many times slower and less potent than Goku's power growth, so either Goku would be able to out-grow Garou during the entire fight, or Garou wouldn't be able to catch up with Goku's power before he either decides to finish the battle cause Garou is too weak or decides to go full power to not die to the Cosmic Radiation. If we assume that Garou tries to copy Goku's transformation power/techniques, I don't think his growth would be able to keep up with Goku if Goku transformed. For example, if he copied Goku's Base Form and then Goku went Super Saiyan 1, he would get blitzed because it only requires 2 times as much power as someone to completely tank their attacks, and Goku would become 50 times stronger for a moment or a few moments which is more than enough time considering the speed feats in Dragon Ball. The dragon ball universe is multiple times larger than our own universe (anywhere from 10 low balling to 400 highballing, I usually go with 10), and that means universal scaling in Dragon Ball is much larger than universal scaling in One Punch Man or using real-world analogs. Moro in the Dragon Ball Super Manga tried to copy an angel's Ultra Instinct and almost combusted from the energy he received, he had to merge with an entire planet to contain the energy and even then was still unstable and went insane due to the power. I don't know if Garou would be able to handle Goku's Ultra Instinct due to the sheer power difference which is probably larger than the power difference between Moro and Merus. Absorbing energy was one of Moro's whole things as was stealing energy from other people and being able to contain it. Moro gave minuscule FRACTIONS of his own energy to one of his soldiers which caused the soldier to collapse and die. This soldier was stronger than the earth's strongest forces which includes Ultimate Gohan.

I think he missed what the copy ability was built for, it wasn’t just to copy the power level, but also technique, if Garou copy’s kioken, he can use it himself, and if he continues to copy goku in power while keeping the multiplier of kioken, not to mention that he might even be able to increase the level of kioken on his own due to the nature of his knowledge of all things, and this is assuming goku is in character and sees the potential in garou, I can easily see garou reaching goku in strength. Like frieza, garou is a natural and if given the time, which I know goku would let happen, he would become a top tier, that’s just the nature of his power, the only reason garou isn’t already “universal” in power is because of the power level of the people around him, imagine if goku was never attacked by the saiyans, cell never happened and the androids were never built. Goku wouldn’t have become anywhere near as strong as he is now and that’s the situation Garou is in, a character with op growth but no one to bounce off of.

So if goku were to fight with a weaker form such as ssj or ssj2, he could copy those forms and become stronger, forcing goku to use a stronger form such as god or blue or even Mui, then garou would copy that then become stronger. My main issue with goku’s “multiversal level durability” is moments where he gets damaged or even nearly knocked out by attacks that were ASTRONOMICALLY below that in terms of sheer energy output e.g: goku dying to a single ki blast from hit while on guard, said ki blast was not able to break a boulder, then there’s the laser beam freiza’s goon used to mortally wound goku, granted he was caught off guard, but I find it hard to believe freiza arms anyone with a weapon able to destroy the universe. Let me explain. What we’re looking for in most vs battles is ap (attack potency) which the amount of power within a given attack and not the amount of destruction it can cause. Goku has numerous universe busting feats but there are 2 reasons why this isn’t shown all the time: 1. These types of destruction scenes aren’t necessary for the most part unless the narrative demands it 2. Fighters in dragon ball can actively limit the amount of destruction to their environments. A great example of this is in the tournament of power where people casually break apart kachi katchin despite the fact it is literally harder than katchin which is the hardest material in the entirety of universe 7 and yet most can simply break it without even trying Each attack should contain enough energy to wipe entire universes but the radius of their destructive power doesn’t expand beyond what’s necessary

This video has a LOT of problems, but my main one is this: how do we know the speed that Garou can copy at. It has to be above his travel speed at the beginning of his fight with Saitama. Think about it. After toying with Blast, Garou realizes Saitama is a strong opponent and his first instinct is to copy him. Then he kills Genos and Saitama lunges at him full speed. Remember Garou is aware that Saitama completely outclasses him and knows his only win condition is to copy him. Yet despite being slower than Saitama, he enters Saitama mode before getting punched in the face. His copy ability is at least MFTL or possibly instant, and we know his main strategy is to copy, refine and outgrow a strong opponent. Goku can still win this as you said, but it depends what form he takes first.

I know that Garou still loses even with this piece of information but in the manga it is said when he copies techniques he also refines them to perfection over the course of the fight ass well as being able to combine it with other techniques. So it is TECHNICALLY possible for Garou to win if given enough time to perfect Goku’s techniques, AND combined it with gravity knuckle and nuclear fission punch. But that’s with all the odds stacked in his favor, just thought it was worth mentioning.

I'm still really bothered how SSGod Goku clashing with Beerus can cause the whole universe to break, and that feat is repeatedly used by Content Creator that speaks about Goku when scaling him. And then Blue is supposedly much more powerful and that form has been spammed continuously and even gets bodied even by opponents such as Hit, Goku Black with equivalent Rose form, Jiren, and Broly. But the "shattering the universe with sheer force" is never mentioned again or no longer a concern... Why? Dragon Ball super feels like SCP Apollyon class writers that they just keep boasting how much their OC can be god over everything and then nerf everything down on the next page just to keep it simple and convenient for writing purposes, Blue is now being used like SSJ1 and having the same fighting effect, just larger boasting.

Scale Dragon Ball, Ki Control. So what's the point of God and Blue if they all revert their power level down to basic SSJ and the opponents are also obligated to do so? Why don't just hang around SSJ 1-3 or just be in their base at this point of the story? Zamasu wanted to destroy all mortals, not just humans specifically, or for some reason, its never specified that he just wanted humans to die and had some plan for Earth that he keeps it around(With Japanese language, Ningen implies human, so maybe he is). There were other alien race in universe 7 and Zamasu Black only hangs around Earth to just scare people and not just blow it up and move on to the next "MORTALS". i really think goku beats garou, but you are scaling wrong, as from garou you are scaling in a mathematical sense, with goku you are only scaling with statements, in a scaling video you cant scale anything if someone says a statement, but the actual feat, goku cant be universal, because he hasn't destroy not even a planet, so if you want to scale both in a mathematical way, divide 10000 to goku with UI scale (10000 as the minimum to destroy a planet), and then just find how many planets could goku destroy with his current power and there you go, goku scale. if you want to scale in statements you need to say both, goku and garou, garou states time is nothing to him, that is an statement not a feat, just as whis saying goku and bills could destroy the entire universe. a feat of goku could be goku hiting moro in UI or goku moving faster than hit or something like that, those are feats not statements

When it comes to Garous copy abilities you can argue it only works in his universe because it was given to him by god and he is the progenitor of all monsters and human mutants (it is at least implied this also means the hero’s and villains are tied to him) this could be why the creator of one punch man says after god is defeated saitama becomes the weak I think this is because his powers are tied to god and after killing the source of it he becomes weak if there’s an ability that is possible because of gods power then garou can have it (like garou can copy saitama because saitamas power are also correlated to god but he took what he could imitate because saitama doesn’t have limits while garou still did garou copying super natural abilites in other universes is kinda like Yuta from JJK copying gojos abilites yuta is able to copy abilites and make them better sure but he can’t copy gojos abilites cause they are tied to his bloodline and what he is born with and other aspects of the power system in JJK you can’t just copy other power systems in other universes most of the time another example is kakashi he’s copied hundreds to even thousands of jutsus in his own verse but put him next to super man and saying he can copy his heat vision

I think DBS Goku totally takes this Match but I don't think that with equalized stats he could keep up with Garou's martial arts. His proficiency is so busted that he doesn't just learn martial arts as quick as Goku learned the Kame Hame Ha Wave, but it went to the point he could imitate, master and execute perfectly a technique with a brief view he took from a scroll before getting kicked out from a Dojo. Also cosmic radiation is considerably stronger than any poison, if Goku isn't protecting himself with a Ki aura, he's most likely gonna feel the toll on it's body eventually, tho it might need a long time before it plays into effect.

Also they overpowered Cell, not outmatched it, Goku usually defeats his enemies by getting powerups that make him dominate his opponents usually besides UI(Which gives him a powerboost anyways). Garou has defeated stronger opponents than him by identifying weakspots and hitting them with techniques designed to exploit them.

Even in life or death battles, Goku has shown that he will allow even the worst of people to reach full power and even pity's them and will attempt to stop fighting saying they're aren't worth the fight. Even though Goku wins this fight hands down, its shown that the last enemy he resorted to killing was Buu, and he still wished the best for him as well.(him killing Freiza in resurrection f, was only because Beerus bailed him and Vegeta out big time) When Goku fought Beerus on king kai's world, he slowly ramped between his forms, he does this in the TOP, against Broly and Granola. He heals his opponets in attempts to prove his or others strength against them(cell saga being his worst idea ever). These habits of his cause his fights to go on for way too long. Because Goku has terrible habits, I can always see the very Distant chance that Garou can win. If it was Vegeta vs Garou, then Garou dies.

This fight wildly depends on what version of each character is fighting who. Cosmic Garou wins most of the time due to just emitting large amounts of cosmic radiation and Goku doesn't have radiation resistance as far as I know. Current Goku wins so long as he takes the fight seriously right out the gate. Cus he's unquantifiably more powerful than Cosmic Garou. It's laughable. But Goku dies if he doesn't take him out right away. Radiation poisoning and whatnot. And Goku widely known for fucking around when he shouldn't be. It's hard to say what would be their most even matchup would be. I'm thinking Red Garou, the one that fights Darkshine vs end of original Dragonball Goku. The one that fought Piccolo in the tournament. But even then I'm not so sure.

Regular humans were able to withstand Cosmic Fear Garou's radiation for a substantial amount of time, Goku is not a regular human, he's from an ultra-durable warrior race and also is able to make a ki-shield around his body to stop poisons from affecting him, and it might work with radiation too. Even if it didn't, I don't think radiation poisoning would affect him all too much in such a short amount of time as, again, regular humans and children were able to withstand Garou's radiation. When he fought Android 20 he realized he was getting weaker due to the heart virus and tried to go full strength to end the fight, when he realizes that the longer the fight goes the faster he'll die, he gets serious.
