Nine and a half minutes to ask a question. SMH. I'm sure that if your goal was primarily to show everyone there the most amount of respect, you did exactly what was best. But if your goal was to, "Pack in the most amount of information in the [shortest] amount of time," then your introduction went 7 minutes too long. If you can't introduce someone in less than 20 seconds, your focus is on the wrong thing.
