It’s expensive for sure. But it makes such a difference it’s amazing! I own an anti-aging clinic and buy in bulk. I pass the savings on to my clients. They pay what I paid for the product which is around $90 USD and I only charge $25 Canadian for injections. I work out of my home office. So I have little overhead fees. I used to work in a very fancy clinic in Yorkville in Toronto Canada. The people that owned that clinic would be with a client for less than 15 minutes, and then go into the staff room and laugh at how much money they were making, in such little time. Actually, it left a bad taste in my mouth. When I decided to open my own clinic. I thought I will never be like those owners. Beauty shouldn’t cost a fortune and shouldn’t be just for the rich. I’ve bought secondhand machines, that were barely used, for a quarter of the price of what they would charge brand new. During the prom season I offer my services for free, two months before prom. The kids only have to pay for the product that I use for their treatments. Normally at that age I’m not doing injections, but I do a lot of acne control and facials for the kids. It’s unfortunate that only people with big paycheques can afford some of these treatments. I used to study criminology, and one of the books we had to read was titled “the rich get richer, and the poor get prison”. It changed my perspective on life.

Your comment just shows how people are ripped off in most places. It doesn't need to cost thousands of dollars. In England, you can get Profhilo from £250 per treatment if you shop around. You are doing a great service by doing it at affordable prices, it shouldn't be only for the rich.

Thank you for this video. I am 49 and I follow a healthy life style, never smoked, no alcohol, sleep 8 hours, sunblock every day, skin care every day since I was 16. Very little filler in strategic places (I look natural no one could ever tell) and Botox every four months for 16 years now. My focus is prevention. My doctor microneedles my face every 4-6 months and applies Profhilo immediately after. I love it.

Profhilo is nothing like as expensive as you say in UK. It iaverages £500 for 2 sessions. I love it and it made my neck skin look lovely and smooth. Profhilo gives a nice glow and slightly plumping effect to my face. It is not painful, unlike skin boosters which are horrible. I have had volite skin booster, it was horrible, painful and i didnt see much improvement after the nasty lumps went away.

@PandaA-cv3mm Our FDA is so corrupt, it just means the Profhilo company wasn’t willing to pay enough bribe money for them to approve the product. Ofc they don’t call it a bribe but that’s what it is. They have no integrity whatsoever because they get half of their funding from the corporations they are supposedly regulating. Major conflicts of interest going on with all of our regulatory agencies in America. Also with the medical journals as well. John Campbell has done a great job of covering the issue on his channel.

I had my second PROFILO on the mid and lower face yesterday at a skin academy (a very popular treatment here in the UK). There were no complications and is low risk as everything is checked with the tutor. I have low body fat, so helps with facial volume whilst maintaining muscle on the body without fat. It's difficult to have fat pads in the face and no fat on the body: it comes off all over, so intervention is required. Great research, Dr Rajani!

I have used it x 2 - felt it helped a lot with radiance / texture. I had filler as well so hard to tell if it increased volume or fat. Extremely painful, but I could stay still with it. I want to get a third one, too. I’m in Australia and have been asking about Platelet Rich Fibrin but haven’t found someone professional who does it. On a different note: I hate the look of lip fillers or any filler that’s not to restore what is lost, but rather to change a young woman’s look - unattractive.

I did Profhilo two times in my life, 2 sessions each. In the UK 2 sessions cost 500 GBP, so around 600 USD. It’s painful, you get bumps, which totally disappear after several hours. I do not think I’ll do it again, because the risks outweighs the benefits - you need to do it twice a year, 2 sessions each, so 4 sessions a year, which probability wise increases risks and risk of blindness. Plus it’s very expensive! The effect lasted on me 2-3 months max and then the skin goes back to normal. You do see the effect in terms of glow, plumpness, but also the skin feels a little bit rubbery, but beautiful. Once again all the money and pain for 2-3 months of joy are not worth it. Plus it has not been studied for a long time. Only now we are finding out fillers last 10 +years…

I had it done in my country of México. I really liked the restoring skin effect (hydration, a bit of good skin tightness, better skin tone/glow). I had 2 sessions done 5 weeks apart. A bit of discomfort when applied, but that’s subjective as each person has a different tolerance to pain. 5 injections per side of the face beginning at the outside of the cheekbone and spread at other areas (by the sideburns, chin, lower jaw, exactly like the chart the doctor shows at 4:43). The point of injection swells (painless though) like a bee sting or something. In my case, the cheekbone areas always took longer to go back to normal (3 days), the other areas were back to normal within a day. $470 per session. Way less expensive than what the doctor states. It’s been 6 months and the effects are still there. Of course, I take care of myself and my skin, don’t drink, etc. so this may vary by person. I will soon go back to my certified dermatologist and get one more maintenance injection session.

@lnayler

It’s expensive for sure.
