Profiles | Claus Fischer

Claus Fischer is Germany´s first call pop and jazz bassist. Claus has taught himself to play bass before starting professionally with the “Franck Band” who published 7 albums. After making a name for himself in the European Jazz and Funk scene, Claus landed the gig as the bassist for the “Heavytones”, Germany´s no.1 Late Night TV Band, where he played from 2001 to 2004.
Following this Claus has worked as an independent live and studio bassist.
His credits include sessions and recordings for: Chaka Khan, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Lionel Richie, Christopher Cross, Guildo Horn, Don Grusin, Charlie Mariano, Dan McCafferty and many more..
In total he has recorded for more than 300 albums and played more than 800 live shows on TV.
