BRAVO Mr. Cayabyab! Thank you for the FILIPINO Music!

His library of notes should be put in metal boxes or something more secure, or maybe have them put in digital copies. These are gems worth of archive. Especially now that he is a National Artist. It's always through those notes done during the process of his work that you get to glimpse into the genius at work. Just like amazing painters, i love to see their studio and dream of browsing through their sketchbooks and piles of old random pieces of work in their studio.

Once sat at a table beside his, was with my lola; he requested the band to play the most beautiful Tagalog songs. It was a surreal and lovely memory

Maraming salamat po dito. Kakapanuod ko lang nito. Ang ganda. Grabe. Nakakabuhay ng kamalayan. :) Very precious ang interview na ito w/ Maestro. Galing din mag-interview ni Ms. Mitzi. Kudos!

2 of his top 3 songs were hits of Smokey Mountain... just shows how special that group was to him. No doubt SM was his biggest achievement, .and their songs his biggest contribution to that generation, and the generations still to come😍
