Best explanation of how to trade a breakout I have seen. It helped me understand where to place my stop. My issue has been that I have seen where a breakout would happen, but I miss it because it rips past and then I watch because I don't want to get caught in FOMO. This helps a lot and should help with my entry point.

I’ve been working as day trader almost a year now. I am trying the 3 bar, and found myself on BIMI this morning...it was breaking out and I wanted to get in, but was anxious to find the 3 bar, which didn’t really show...I found myself looking for it in all my time frames to just get in ...i should have gone in earlier, made .22 cents, but was late trying to find it...so I am SO glad to see this video, THANKS!

Excellent video!! I actually took a break out trade on LK earlier today. Got in at 19.66 and Stop at 19.46. got out at 20.98.. it went above 21 and if I calculated correctly it has room to 22. I took my profits and left. IDC if it goes to the moon!! I'll get back in later if it continues, but that selling will hit hard around 22. Might be some selling in that area.

Love your Vids!!! But according to a few sources on z Net, Stop orders will only trigger during the standard market session, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Stop orders will not execute during extended-hours sessions, such as pre-market or after-hours sessions, or take effect when the stock is not trading. So is your intention with a stop loss to stop out on a ore-market order after z market opens?

Apologize for my neophyte questions sir: So...how does one "pre-nibble" at the pre--09:30, taking a 1/4 lot? More specifically, in this example,...it's not "wippy" of erratically jumping up/down before the OPEN. Your suggest that a .10 Stop Loss would have worked here to have kept "us" in the game for the rise. Can you "show us" sometime,...an actual "Order/Entry" scenario on something like this? I for one, being newer, need to see the actual "order/entries" to fully understand the way it's done. I'm learning Think or Swim now,...and understanding this is of the utmost importance other than taking small buys now.

THx- you have taken a lot of trouble to make notes on each chart- I enjoyed the video - I trade breakouts a lot at demand levels (after a Ratbox consolidation) but I can't trade breakouts at Supply levels (e.g. Stock making new 52 week/life highs). Mid-level rally-base-rally, that I can do, leaning on confirmation from stochastics.
