Oh my goodness!!! This is such a great tutorial. I won't try to make a similar journal because it looks like way too much work, and I'm lazy 😄 LoL! The journal is absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing. x.o

Very informative and clear. The only thing I would add (but I don't know if it is possible with video) - often when you speak about into which hole the needle should go (as in 11:16 for example), the video seems to have a decent amount of space to the right. Maybe this space can be used to put a hole diagram (as an overlay of sort), so people will have a more convenient references which hole is #3 and don't won't have to flip back to 10:24 to double check.

Thanks, that's a great suggestion! Unfortunately I can't add to the video once it's posted, so I'd have to pull it down, edit it and re-post it, which I'm probably not inclined to do. It's a pretty straight-forward template though, so someone who needed the consistent visual reference could quickly just sketch out a similar example on a piece of paper while they were watching the video or working on their own book. Thanks again, though. There's always something else I wish I'd done after I upload the video. lol. :)

I am so enjoying working through your great instructions and I've successfully completed many projects, but I'm struggling with the clamshell box as the link to part two doesn't seem to be working. Help!
@KristiWarrenHandmadeBooks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Veronica - I checked the links to part 2 for the clamshell and they seem to be working for me, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Can you tell me where exactly you're accessing the link? (Is it the one at the end of the Part 1 video? The one in the description?) Anyway, here is a direct link to Part 2 while I try to trouble-shoot that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/in3Wc5yEfZiDhdk

Aha! I think I found it! You mean the link on my website. I have fixed that now. You might need to refresh your browser page to get the update. Thanks for the heads-up on that!! :)
