New today. Same machine. Key not recognized. Fix for us. Brand new got this message. No safety key (round magnet 2 prongs). The fix was looking at the wires in console that we just connected when unpackaged. Not large clip but next down we had to resnap it. Flipped it to other side all works fine now. T7 Proform Treadmill.

At 5:46 I can not screw the screws in because one side will line up with the holes but the left side won't.

You have to make sure you didn’t screw the rails in super tight. They should be able to move a little. They have to be tightened once everything else is finished 💚🌱

Step number 4 is important -partially tighten a 3/8" x 1 1/4" Screw(1) and a 3/8" x 1 3/4" Screw (2) with 3/8"Star Washers (11) into the bottom of the RightUpright (86); do not fully tighten the Screws yet.

Yes, everything aligned perfectly when I pushed it down on the handrails. Make sure you didnt fully tighten your screws on step 3 and 4. You also have to make sure the handrails are on correct (step6). Thank you for watching!!!💚🌱

Great video! I've been working out on my Proform 840 for over 20 years and it's finally time to replace it. The T-7 looks like a good replacement but I don't want to pay for the iFit subscription. Is there a place to see how this works without iFIt ? (i.e. in "Manual Mode".) I read a review that said it was difficult to switch to manual mode -- have you tried this?

The only screws we had issue with were the feet. Rest just had to back out sometimes and re-adjust the holes

Thank you for the set up and the tutorial. I just got mine today, and i put it together with your instruction as well as the manuals. It was nice to be able to go back and forth and double check each step. So far (literally just one 10 minute walk) the machine feels good. Time will tell however if it's worth it, meaning if the machine holds up to the wear and tear. Here's hoping it does!
