I was about to take my life four nights ago. I had a whole plan and letters written out. I went onto KZbin for a distraction just to waste some time before I’d go through with my plan. Your video was the second one to show on my recommended and i don’t know why but I just sat down and just watched your video. It really spoke to me and I just started thinking about my parents and how they’d be heartbroken. I didn’t go through with my plan and now I’m trying to look at life in a different, better way. I know I won’t get better immediately but your video really inspired me to try to get better Keep it up

As much as I understand the message of this video, I feel differently. The reason why we, or at least I cling so hard to self-help advice is because of our experiences with others or with the rank we feel or were told we have in society. We end up sacrificing the love we give ourselves because we are social beings. I'm unable to see myself or love myself because I don't believe the world loves me or because of a comment someone I care about has made. Unfortunately, we aren't built to be alone. We relate and connect and build communities that at times rob us of our identity. We allow everyone around us to have a say over who we are. Your words aren't wrong... It's just a reminder of the life we all live. We all try and try to relate and learn from other people, but after doing that for so long, we get emotionally tired and feel broken. We feel unwanted and undeserving of so much. We think it's somehow a fault of our own that we don't have enough friends or that we can't be something because someone told us we can't. Nonetheless, your words are appreciated. 😂 Sorry I didn't hear you. What's happening next week?
