YOU are the ONLY video I found which actually helped. This worked for a 2005 focus ZX4. The new ones that was missed in another video was to turn the key to the “off” position on the fourth time, and not the “run” position. Then you hear the tone. THANK YOU!

It's important to point out that you have to press the buttons on both key fobs at once to program two key fobs

It's good to know that having your seatbelt on was an extra thing to do. But I did everything you said and for some reason still not getting my new key fob to respond? In the instructions it said that you only have to go on and off three times? So I'm a little confused. Any help would be great

You need a obd2 scan tool that can program keys

Being from europe so many things feel weird in this focus. Like the lock button on the driver door. In the FocEU locking the driver's or front passenger's door manually actuates the lock. The key itself is different too. Key and remote are integrated, but lacks the panic button. Also the cruise control buttons. FocEU has a stalkish thing under the blinkers you control CC with, while the FocUS has buttons on the steering wheel

Whatever it is I turn the key on and off four times I do hear the charm. But when I push the button on the new fob it doesn't make that beep like yours does

@@natedogg2282 you have to do both at the same time. You simultaneously press one button on each at the exact same time. Then both are programmed into your car

You don't need the old one. The old one will be erased when you program the new one
