1:48 I definitely meant to say half-time, not double-time. When snares get programmed in half-time, they land on beat 3 on a grid.

That's weird dude. Never seen any producer program the Kick last. Always first. Then the snare. Then the HiHat. You have no beat without a kick. No hate. To each his own.

Clicking in drums is wack no matter how you do it. In my humble opinion, the only real way to get your drums to stand out is to record them in by finger drumming them in with no quantize. All this programming them in with a mouse is the real reason why everyone's drums sound like shit. And the ones that don't sound like shit, are recording them in by playing them live. That's where I assumed he was going with this video.
