***** I actually have the day color at 30% since I like the blue look and my Rainbow Acan looks amazing! I started the intensity at 50% because my A160we is only like less than a foot from my surface(using the 90 degree adapter with the gooseneck). I want to go easy with the intensity to see how my LPS react. I'm pretty sure that my SPS and Bubble Tip Nems would be fine with 100% though.

Rookie question: I'm begging to set up side by side 180g half cylinder tanks that will share the same filtration and controller - I'll be doing 2 or 3 kessels per tank for a total of 4 or 6 kessel led units. Can this be done with the apex neptune? In other words, can I use a Y or something so that 1 channel is one tank but controls more than 1 led pod? IF NOT, can I daisy chain a second lighting controller in order to accomplish this? One tank will be pure reef and the other will be mostly fish, so the lighting will be different for the two tanks.

Very helpful video here! I bought a red sea reefer 450, 2 kessil a360 w e, an apex unit with lab grade ph probe and a waveline pump. I saved hundreds from not paying sales tax(im in California) and the tank was delivered to my porch. On top of that, I got $170.00 in reward points! So i then ordered the dual media carbon/gfo reactor along with other necessities with the reward points. I figured with the black friday sale, no sales tax and free delivery i saved nearly $1,000.00 by buying it from you guys and not a local fish store. Thank you so much for getting me almost everything i need and saving me so much money. I will spread the word that's for sure. By the way, the local fish store red sea dealer was a little pissed. They should put themselves in my shoes..what would they do? Exactly.

A lot packed into a short video, and although the videos are free, viewers should note the value per dollar they are getting in tips for their success. This is great! Worked like a charm! I believe from reading a bit people say the kessil doesn't turn on till 10-12% . How high off the water & what intensity should the Kessil a360we be at on a Display DIMS (24” x 16” x 19”) tank?

If I purchase a Radion XR30W G4 LED light, can I plug it directly into the control head unit of the apex? (I saw a note that the radion is compatible with the WXM module for apex, I just didn’t know if that module is mandatory in order to control these lights).

Quick question , I programmed my 360A kessil with apexfusion exactly like in the video but in the base_Var1 , KessilColor this message comes out ( error : line2 - Expected ON or OFF OR PFx// if Time 09:00 to 15:00 Then KdawnColor) what should I do ? I did the same configurations but for some reason the lights turn on 30 minutes later and turn off 30 minutes before. Any idea why is this happening?

For Kessils, the light does not turn on until it is at least at intensity of 10 for brightness.

What are your opinions of the Kessil lights? I am seriously debating buying two of the 360WE lights for my 75 reef. But I rarely ever see tanks with them, is it because they are just relatively new? Or are they not good lights? Thank you in advance!

This video seems so great and informative EXCEPT for the FACT that the programs should start with "Set ON" not "Set OFF" I wonder how many people like me bought these lights to think they are broken because they dont turn on after they copy the programming from this video. If you make this change it will work correctly.

I'm thinking about getting an Apex system, and lighting is one of the main elements I want to include with it. Just a quicky question. You plugged a cable into the V1/V2 port of the controller. Where does the jack end plug into on the light? I'm trying to get my head around the cabling and what needs to go where?

+BulkReefSupplyCom you plugged in what looks like an ethernet connector into the APEX, but the top of the Kessils have a pin type connector. What specifically is this cable?

Hello, very informative video like all others. I have followed this exact schedule but changed the times. My dashboard shows color at 44% and power at 9% but my lights went off ten minutes ago. Any ideas??? Thanks!!

Still not as easy as the Kessil controller. Dont bother with Apex AND ESPECIALLY STAY AWAY from Reef"er"Keeper. WORST service out of ANY company in the tank business.
