This is the only video’s method that worked for me; what differentiates this from the rest is that it adds the additional step of hitting the learn button on the opener after you program the home link with the remote control.

Out of all the videos I’ve watched, this is the only one that worked! Tips for 2022 Hondas: Either have the car running or in accessory mode (press the Start button twice without your foot on the brake). Now, looking at the mirror, make sure the button in the middle (to the right of the 3 homeLink buttons) is “on” (will glow green) and then follow his steps. Viola!

@bmxrider8284 Sadly, no. You have to buy and program a remote (it can be a cheap one) and THEN you can synch it to the remote mirror. Otherwise, I spent 2 weeks trying to do it and just got frustrated. Now that it's synched, it's a breeze!

My genie unit had a different button layout. There was a prgm button. It was difficult to see the blue light if not directly under the unit. Otherwise all the steps are the same

Is my car supposed to be on or no? Keep having issues when I hold the genie remote and my home link button. Another video said have it on but didn’t see yours say that.
