Program LiftMaster 877LM Keypad Via Wall Button!

The LiftMaster Keyless Entry system can be programmed with the learn button located on the wall console. In this video we are programming a 4 digit security pass code to a LiftMaster 877LM Keypad from an 882LM wall button. Similar products by Chamberlain & Craftsman can be programmed using these same directions. No need to climb a ladder and activate the learn button on the motor head. Thank you so very much for posting this video. My husband and I have been struggling for a week to try and fix our garage door. We had to reprogram our openers for our cars, but then all of a sudden the keypad stopped responding to our keypad code and just would not close with the remotes or the keypad. Only the wall button would close it. The wall button and car remotes would open it. So this helped so much to fix a very annoying problem.

Can't get it to work. Tried the directions that came with the keypad...nothing. Have tried this...nothing. Tried 2 other KZbin videos (all have different directions)...nothing.

My keypad has 2 screws but i only see 1 hole for mounting. The oem had a hole behind the battery, the I bought from you guys doesn't, any idea?
