I haven't been on the shoes of other industries but as an Architect, money is being directly proportionate to the stress. and also its directly proportionate to the confidence level we have. I'm still trying to recover my confidence in designing and getting on the field. I lost my confidence when some clients and contractors cheated me without paying any money for the work I did for them. And as a freelancer then I didn't have anything documented properly. Its been 2 years now and I'm still afraid to take up any freelance works.

Always write a proposal with the scope of work, signed by your company and the client. Even if you’re just doing a single family homes kitchen renovation! Ultimately it’s in both parties best interest.

Hello Milos. Great topic. I hope you will continue to work on this topic in the future. For example, I am the type of person who would sacrifice stress and money for the sake of recognition. I guess it has something to do with playing Age of Empires, where you also have upgrades and progress through different levels :)

Hi, I have been following your videos for a while now, and you influenced me to become a programmer. I am now working as a software developer at an aerospace company. However, I am trying to get back into AEC with my new programming skills. In the research I have been doing I came across this Open Source project called the BHoM (build and habitat object model). Have you come across it? if so, what do you think? Is i worth learning more about it?

I am in the middle of this chaos now i got the idea of sacrificing things if we choose one out of three phases of AEC industry. I am a 3d artist and i love the way i work and now i am satisfied that my stress will be less because i am in the design industry. One thing I also heard from my contractor that you just design what feels good to your mind but we have to achieve that in ground. Now, i am also learning design things like analysis but i dont think small residential project require such analysis in ETABs or other software, what is your opinion...

This is sounds like 100% violation of Copyrights. Author alway suppose to have right to be mentioned in credits, and be able to add project in his list of accomplishments. No matter what contract may say about it. NDA - might be a restriction for publication before release.
