Programmer or Video Editor? Which job is better?

Not sure how the programmer market is in Japan right now, but in the US and Europe, there have been massive layoffs from big tech companies and it's basically impossible to find a job as a junior or even senior. The market is oversaturated and there's not a lot of opportunities to get started. Hopefully things are better over there.
