Yes and no. If you go on indeed, you'll see posts for coding/programming after school programs. There's a demand for real programmers to teach/coach people live, online or in person. You're looking at it from the pov of someone with experience or iron clad determination, but there are people who value the experience and guidance of an expert. Just try it out and you might find some students/clients. Good luck out there!

I currently have 8 mentees at 4 levels (at work not as a side gig). All of the guidance I provide can be found on the Internet so I'm sure you can get an AI to share the same. For someone who doesn't already have the knowledge, it would challenging to ask questions in the right way to get the information they don't know to ask about without a lot of bad or non applicable information they don't know to filter out. There are also foundational exercises like career mapping that you just can't do with an AI that help to establish the trajectory of a good mentorship relationship.

Curious but didn't understand how Open Source got monetized. Rest make sense but for Open Source it eluded me. Can someone elaborate? :)

Per the video 5:24, you can fork a project then include sponsored content for it. I'm assuming the implication is you make it your own. A better way is to be a contributor making you a subject matter expert and then offer support services for that project. A more potentially lucrative path would be to create a service out from OSS but that's then in line with with the micro SaaS suggestion.

How is that real? I mean it COULD bring you money but you'd have to get very lucky.

Hi Aaron, I like your video editing skills. Which programs do you use and how did you learn to make such animations and what about the gifs and the images you use? Do you make them yourself?

It kinda works a bit different. When you build 1 app, its built and deployed. So, you not going to stay at that spot but rather build new one. So on, so on, until on of them comes off. :) Maybe could apply if you need to push one project at 100% but on marketing, not pure development.
