Hello from Italy, I bought Midi Captain with Midi Mate few months ago. In January the controller got stuck with the following message and i haven’t been able to restart it or reinstall the firmware. The controller simply doesn’t work! I sent many e-mails to Zuo Wilson at Midi Captain but i didn’t get any response or assistance. Do you have any advice to give me? Here is the error message: Traceback (most recent call last): File "code.py", line 336, in File "C:\Users\wwben\Nectcloud\0Works\0_PA\PT_MIDI\FW\MIDIGeekMode\offline\midicaptain.py", line 464, in RuntimeError: Corrupt .mpy file Code done Running.

The only thing I could think of is to connect to pc with usb and copy new file of firmware

I just bought this midi controller. I want to set it up like stomp mode. Use the bank buttons to change channels and the other 8 switches for stomp effects on/off. I have an external expression pedal as well. Is it difficult to set it up for this mode of operation? Thanks

I don't know how to but it's probably easy to do in geek mode. You'll just need to figure out the commands to send to the qc. Sorry I'm not much help in this regard, since I haven't set it up this way 😅

I believe you can put the Quad Cortex into Hybrid Mode

Can one send multiple messages like a PC & a CC messages simultaneously on one switch?

Yes you can. In Geek Mode, you can program up to 6 commands for a button down press and up to 6 for a button up release. Commands can be a PC, CC, or note and will be activated simultaneously. In regular mode you can only program one command for a button down press command and one for a button up release command.

@dorianaguayo9542 Yes. In normal mode and when Geek Mode is activated using the "3" button, the lights will always be on but will brighten when the button is pressed and dim when another button is pressed.
