Programming Remotes with the Launch X431 Pro3S+

I love this tool. I bought it back in November of 2021 and it's my main scan tool. I opted to get this one as it has the larger screen and some features that it's little brother lacks.

I've worked with a lot of scan tools over the years. Hands down the X431 Pro3s+ is the best that I've seen.

So I have the launch crp123x and I bought the Honda package. My ignition assembly failed so I bought a new one from Amazon. When I go into the system selection and choose imobilizer all it gives is the info. No options to replace or add keys

I don't think that model offers that option. You'll need a higher end model to program with.

Just ordered one but it seems people are saying they have problems loading software and other issues because it’s a global not USA supported. Any problems???

No, I've had no issues. Yes, the US branch of launch will be jerks to deal with since they want you to buy the same tool for 3x the price, but it's not an issue since you can deal with Kingbolen directly.

They are talking about bringing Pontiac back. I think they are talking about a new GTO. That being said I am wondering if it will be a rebadged version of another vehicle.

That would be my guess. They will just rebadge something from Chevy.

That is much harder. You need a way to turn the car on (key on engine off) In order to program keys. With no way to power up all the systems, you are pretty much stuck with a dealership only solution.

I am not sure on that one- There is a programing mobilizer module that you might have to get-
