Hello, I have an issue where i am starting up my 2015 chevy cruze and the wipers automatically start for 3-4 wipes and stop where they please. They work fine when i go up a lever(regular speed) and then at fastest setting they work fine too. When i push the lever down for the one wipe they immediately stop when i let go. I also notice there isnt an INT function available anymore. When i twist to go INT quicker or slower it doesnt register. I brought my car to a local mechanic and they thought it might be a bad switch and they replaced it with a new one but still have same issue. They then said it most likely has to do with the BCm module. It will cost me a lot of money to replace it so I can't do it now. Any ideas? Ty

Hi excuse my ignorance, but could you also just take the 2 chips off the old board and solder them onto the new board? Great video
@ecurepair4 ай бұрын
only if flash programming is already the same. In this case, it was not.
@arbok36324 ай бұрын
Is that because it’s a different part number? Or is there another way to tell?

Thanks for the info. Is it possible to program used BCM when the old one lost
@ecurepair6 ай бұрын
Not sure I have tried a used one like that before. May be better to just use a virgin bcm and SPS if original is gone or unreadable.

What software are you using to read/write the eeprom
@ecurepair3 ай бұрын
for mcu I used original xprog. For epprom I used t48 : keyworks.us/lnks/t48

Hi, I have an Iprog programmer but can't find information or datasheet to make connections on the board. Would you mind sharing a link for datasheet or instructions, or does the software tells you where to make connections?
Hi there. I have a Chevy Captiva 2010. My question is can the BCM be programmed or reprogramming to fold the orvm in when locked and fold out when unlocked like the newer cars. I understand it can be done by relay but i just wanted to know if it can be done via programming. If anyone's got any clue regarding this topic do help.

I have a question i understand the eeprom data transfer with Ch143...but to (flash) other information i don't understand...where and what the IC look like...on bcm. I don't have the other reading tools..just ch143a need other data on bcm because its new...need a simple way out...maybe solder chip IC please help...do have soldering eqpmt

If part number is the same, eeprom is all you need to copy. If part number is different but hardware is the same then you need to copy eeprom from the soic8 chip and you also need to copy flash from the NEC mcu. You would not be able to do that with a ch143 device. In the video I used an original xprog to read the eeprom and the nec flash. If you lack the tools but can solder well, you could move the mcu like I did here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYTFgmCwgb-WpsUsi=5P5JE2ReDg96vuD7 . But this could also cause you to move the problems over with the bad mcu if that is the part that is at fault.

Good day to you....I have a problem with my cars original BCM 13579056....(flooded)...but end up with a BCM 13577849.... is it possible to make the same you've done with the eeprom swap... I need to hear from you... Thanks

If hardware is the same you can clone eeprom and flash and it would be fine

Hi there, thank you for sharing the knowledge. I have a question regarding BCM replacement on a 2010 Chevy Silerado Hybrid. I could not find a used BCM. But brand new ones are available. My question is, if I swap the old EEPROM to the brand new BCM, will it work normally, or will the new BCM still need programming using GM MDI and SPS2 after swapping the eeprom?
@ecurepair10 ай бұрын
If its actually new & virgin its pretty easy to set up and program it with SPS2. But, if it is exact same hardware set up you could copy both flash and eeprom from original and it would work. Just make sure you take a back up of the virgin flash and eeprom files first to keep and use later if needed.

Is there a way to take a blank bcm and program it with the old ones info without paying cor the software ? I have a thinkdiag i thought that would work but their customer service is garbage
@ecurepair4 ай бұрын
If you want to take programming from old unit and put on new unit you would do like I did in the video. You would need a tool capable of reading the eerpom 23c64 and the NEC mcu. Or you could do like in this other for eeprom and mcu: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYTFgmCwgb-WpsU no software needed :)

Sorry bother with this comment, im electrical repair and honestly don't have programmer for GM or CHEVY. But i find eeprom to swap and working perfectly. Is practically all information there about VIN# and theft. When i swap not need programming nothing.
@ecurepairАй бұрын
the programming for operation of the module is inside the flash of the NEC chip. The VIN, Key security and configuration is inside the eeprom. As long as the bcm has the correct programming then just copy the eeprom is fine. But in cases like mine in video, the part number was not same programming so I had to do both.

there is a slight burn mark on the board of my bcm and the pins on my bcm eeprom and the pins seem to be bridged, but everything on the car works except a few of the lights.... if i unbridge them somehow would it possibly fix the problems with my lights? and how do i unbridge them?
