I really enjoyed this, and the fact that it was so short yet so informative made it that more enjoyable.

Thank you so much. I tried to make it as short as I could without speeding through it.

Hey, nice video, just got a question though, through out the video I notice you used two type of Scissor option, in some line(s) Scissor is used and others use Scissors, will that affect the program by creating Error message??
@averysmith2 жыл бұрын
So I think that is only where a hashtag is used # and that means it’s a comment and only readable by humans. Not python! Let me know if I did it not with a hashtag!

@@averysmith Line 25: Scissor (9:24) Line 41: Scissors (10:13) Line 51: Scissors (10:29) Line 56: Scissors (10:34) And the User is being asked to enter Scissor in line 2. (1:50) [Added the Time stamps]. I think The only one in discrepancy will be line 25 and the note because the user will enter a singular word. These were the places were Python code was filled.

@@ArtesDelViento you’re totally right! Line 25 is wrong 😑

@@averysmith Ohh, so it will return an error, thanks for clarifying. I love the way you introduced to those many Python topics just wanted to get that part clear.

@@averysmith random but - what do you think of research scientist positions at Facebook and Google paying up to 1,000,000$ a year? I find it hard to find out more about these positions and the accreditation and skills required! Do you know about these positions?
@averysmith2 жыл бұрын
@@aparsa-mit good question! I wouldn’t know. I don’t make near that much. The highest salary I’ve ever seen is Zach Wilson at AirBnB at $575k.

That's too many else if statements. Could you use a Switch statement instead? Also, I just wanted to point out, you could make a looping menu to check if the user wants to play or exit the game.
@averysmith2 жыл бұрын
I agree it’s a lot of else if statements. I don’t think it’s the most elegant way of writing the code, but it is an easy way to follow along and understand. I don’t use switch statements at all. And yeah, you could definitely add on quite a bit to make this a bit more exciting.
@StaticBlaster2 жыл бұрын
@@averysmith yeah I agree. It's easy to understand especially with your pseudocode alongside the actual code. Thanks for responding.

The fact you wrote 'Scissors' in some spots and 'Scissor" in others is driving me crazy, thought you were gonna hit an error eventually 😂 good video overall though, thanks!

Hahaha I didn’t even notice that!!!! Did I ever misspell scissors? That’s such a hard word for me to spell!!!
