With the expansive windscreen, and precipitous drop-off of the front of the car, visibility to the direct front, must have been incredible.

@@trickydicky2908 glad you enjoy them! Yeah the visibility must have been excellent, but then you don't really get much visibility to the rear, and I'm not sure this is one of those instances where the law of averages comes in... Haha

Another great plastic Porsche video. Thank you. I never cared for the long-tails (styling) and was glad to see the short-tail replacements. John Horsman’s “Racing in the Rain” book went into great depth as to why the short-tails worked just as well, if not better. The taller canopy on the 907 sure does stand out, as you mentioned.

@@johnbecker70 glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching. I’ll have to see if I can find a copy of that book. The Ks are definitely aesthetically superior, although I’ll confess a certain soft spot for the second iteration of the 917LHs. But I am, generally speaking, quite fond of occasionally unnecessary design features if it makes something look better. Quite a personal weakness.

Nice bike, Ti frame? Also YT is ridiculous for claiming your content isn't original.

@@abcdefgh-xf2thmuch appreciated - it's an 02 LeMond Tête de Course. Updated the groupset and running gear with stuff from a Felt F3 so I'm not still running the vintage Dura Ace anymore. Yeah we finally reached an understanding after some rather unkind emails back and forth
