We don’t, in my experience you miss out on 90% of price swings anyway. So I set my margins and if it sells great I know I’m making money.

The scammy buyers on Ebay are the exception in my experience. Same with sellers. I do almost everything on Ebay and have only had two bad experiences with sellers, and it was on low price cards.

Was a TCGplayer direct store, but with the crazy fees for my 40k inventory I went back to just shipping it all myself. Profit margins are a little better. Going to look at doing eBay more.

I only use Ebay bcuz TCG Player has me a fraudulent account. Never sold nor bought on the site. Tried to buy but nope!

While eBay and Shopify might be ok, I don't think you can ever own your own brand by going through them. Building your own site is a nightmare and a hassle, but having that mailing list and brand once you manage to build it out is priceless.

Some really big brands use Shopify and HUGH brands also have eBay and amazon stores.

You can also have a huge mailing list while using Shopify. I guess you don’t use it because it’s free when using it.

@@rng-gamez Sure, big brands may use those platforms, such as Wizards dumping directly, but I don't think you can build your brand off of those even if you can use them as a tool as part of your brand. As for Shopify, looking at it now they have added a mailing list, which is a good step in the right direction, but I still would prefer to use open source options as opposed to being at the whims of Shopify's proprietary systems. Do you know if Shopify only supports their mailing list option or can you use third party options on their platform for that feature?
