Glad everything went well. Its funny that you're telling this story because I live in Jersey and wanted to go to the store to see if you could help me get an idea of how to sell. Instead, I saw some of your old videos and alot of my questions were answered. 2 months into selling and Im already Lvl 4 TCG Player. You really put alot into perspective and instead of rushing into direct and buying bulk I'm definitely taking my time and doing things like collecting reserve list cards on the side. Preordering a Phyzbatch after 500 tcgplayer orders is wild. I was skeptical about buying the $2500 Magic Sorter after 5,000 sales lol. Finally made sense for the Phyzbatch after I passed 15,000 sales or so. Glad you're doing well. You look great!

Amount of orders is somewhat irrelevant imho if the numbers add up and you can afford it there is no reason not to invest in automation. It also means you can develop processes that are scalable and spend your time more efficiently. There are 500 review sellers that run their business professionally and 5000 review sellers who still sit there sorting manually with nonexistent automation or inventory management.

Awesome video Rob. One of my best friends went from 415 and hating life down to 215 over a year or two. For what it’s worth I never even realized you were a big dude, I just always liked what you had to say. With that said, you look good, well done. Also, totally agree on the business talk. Grow naturally, manually sort and list that shit until you are compelled to grow your resources or quit.

I loved the end of this video so much. I'm over a year clean now from years of heavy drug use and the mentality of overeating and substance addictions are basically the same, and while both are stigmatized, people with eating issues are sometimes looked down on even more than those with a drug addiction. I've got a few friends in recovery from both substance abuse and eating disorders and they say that they're more uncomfortable bringing up their eating disorders than their past heroin addiction and that breaks my heart. Glad you're doing better. Keep on staying strong
