I once worked at the Houston Nursery school, and ventured out to some of those East Bank villages, like Eccles. I rode my bicycle from Campbellville, to Houston. Fond memories, I will definitely see these improvements on the East Bank.

Thanks to the oil money which the PPP is spending but which was made possible the the contract signed by the APNU-AFC government. Why is it so hard for you racist people to give credit where it’s due.
@SteveJones-qm5bu9 сағат бұрын
@@RaphaelNation Yea! That great contract! Straighten your eyes and your HEAD! Ask Guyanese about this great contract which the oil company wrote and made the AFC/AFC Ram if through parliament. Now, it’s the PPP’s fault and the pressure is on the PPP to fix it. Yes, Mr. PNC stooge!

Raphael, this is not a Suspension Bridge but a Cable Stay Bridge. There is a big difference between the two.❤

This fella said he’s a neuro scientist. Just listen and anyone can tell who he is or isn’t. What is a neurotic scientist doing running around taking videos? He knows nothing. This chap is campaigning for the AFC/PNC. He feigns showing development in Guyana but is attempting blasting the government every turn he makes. He made some outright lies about the way the Peter’s Hall residents were compensated after the PNC/AFC injected themselves into the matter and corrupted the home owners to go get 3 and 4 way over valued appraisals. The matter went to court which ordered the government to pay the home owners way less than they demanded and what the government had agreed to pay them in the first instance. One more blunder by the AFC/PNC. Misleading people. Last week, he was making all sorts of inuendos that the PPP Government was giving its supporters and cronies $250,000.00. Somebody needs to sue this a$$hole!

Please explain the difference. There is a suspension part at the high span part of the bridge. There are cables used for suspension. So a suspension bridge is by definition cable suspension bridge. Please explain what you mean.

I have looked up the definition of a cable stayed bridge and you are correct that the high span meets the definition of a cable stayed bridge. Thanks for the correction.

@RaphaelNation , no problem, my friend. I worked on a few bridges here in New York years ago. I am kinda simi retired. I have a small construction business. I am like a freelancer now ever since my son left and went to work with the city.

Ok sir. I love the videos today and yesterday. Interesting to see all these important buildings and structures clustered together. It is a clear indication of how the infrastructure of the country is coming together. However, my research has shown that the government was giving the Peters Hall residents the current market value of their home plus a little more. The court case is completed and they were awarded less than the amount the government was giving them.

Rafael... you need a drone to effectively show the bridge. We got tons of good arial shots on youtube. You need to keep up with progress in guyana. Who takes a video on foot. Drones are it.....all angles...fast and smooth.
@RaphaelNation12 сағат бұрын
The story is more important than drone footage. I used drone footage before and it did not increase the views.

This bridge is much needed but having just one bridge access the demerara river is a risk. They need another bridge. Natural disasters do happen and they should consider a bridge further up the East Bank Demerara. Even if its a two lane.
@IanBynoe-it6ni16 сағат бұрын
At least three bridges are needed . They could put one in Georgetown using the old railway enbankmemt from Kingston to West coast demerara. And an another one at Soesdyke Linden highway, junction to West Bank demerara. ❤

Don’t be a dummy. There are international standards that must be followed when building public infrastructure. If you are excusing mediocrity then you are condoning corruption and theft because that is what happens when we accept poor quality infrastructure. Billions of US dollars are being spent and people are getting rich but taxpayers are getting crap that would never be acceptable in the developed world.
@deborahaleow.26459 минут бұрын
Trains, are needed now....there is enough oil money for it. Pause on all those swanky shiny hotels they enjoy building and showing off with! get the train and train tracks going, employment for youths and more!

@ some people have intellectual disabilities. You can’t reason with them. As you get older you understand that you just need to block them because time is too precious to waste on fools. Nowadays we call them undiagnosed neurodivergent or autistic. Nothing can be done to communicate with them because their brain is not neurotypical.
