Great video, I have had my beardie for 3 months (she’s 6 months old) and I am a first reptile owner. I have her currently in a 40 gallon but am upgrading her to a 4x2x2 early next year and was thinking of doing bioactive but this seems expensive and definitely needs to be researched on. I think you mentioning that’s it’s about progress is amazing. I’m definitely not ready for bioactive but definitely will do it down the line when I become more advanced and do more research

l do love to have many of my snakes to meet one another and they often do this here in my room. l am awaiting a dog tent to arrive so l can set up especially for my little snakes to explore and enjoy is complete safety. Enrichment is to me so very important for them and l continually find new ways to give this to my snakes, wonderful subject and one of great importance Lori.

how do you attach the PVC perches?? i’ve tried to give my snake perches with suction cups but they just fall off, and i’m afraid of using any kind of adhesive :/

Here is a video about how o make the perches. I use adhesives or magnetic perch holders. I have found the magnets kind of dangerous so pretty much just use adhesive hooks. The adhesive is on the back so not on the surface where the snake could come into contact with it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/faDbpIRufZqkq6s

I thought essential oils were very toxic for pets, especially snakes as they have only one tiny lung...

It depends on the species of animal and the specific oil, as well as whether they’re ingesting it or just smelling it. As with all items used with or around animals you want to make sure and Research the safety of the substance or toy, etc. for the animal you’re going to use it with.

I’ve never fed my snakes eggs before but I’d like to- do your snakes spit out the shell like egg eaters or do they keep it all down?

I have offered eggs but never had any of my snakes eat them. It should be ok on occasion, many species will eat them in the wild if given the chance and not just egg eaters.

Can my ball python and corn snake hang out in a play pen?

I do not recommend them being in the play space at the same time but separately they can each use the same playpen.
