All pretty accurate except the 80+. My father's going to be 94 in 10 days. Shopping a novel with agents and publishers, attending all of his activist meetings in person and via Zoom, married to his 3rd wife and they live completely independently in their own home, they're flying out to California in June for my sister's 60th birthday, he goes out for a walk every day except when it's raining, and then he does 2 flights of stairs 10X. . .and after 2 years of a pandemic, he's always in a very upbeat mood. And has about 6 ideas as to how to celebrate his upcoming birthday with the rest of us. This is Trey’s wheelhouse. The nods to subtle stereotypes is IMPECCABLE. Like the 16-year-old spinning the keys around his fingers. I would not think of this characteristic to portray a teen, but somehow we ALL can pictures teens, especially newly driving, doing this 😂 It’s just flawless.

Sometimes I so miss my 'misspent youth'! I like to think I gained (some?) wisdom and might worry less about my late 20's and all of my 30's really. Just float longer, idk. You hit the nail on the head with this one, Trey!! I guess 45 is gonna kick ass? Grateful for a healing body, my daughter, a career... 20 and 30 somethings, especially the young women--please don't overly freak out about the future. See the world, try all the things, make something beautiful, stay curious, be selfish. Your future will come in it's own time. In the 90's- early aughts, ok we were sometimes slackers but we made a new way and used our creativity, it's all happening for you now and the younger generation already. It will be ok, blow out the candles every year❤ Edit: why the strike-through? I have no idea, but the sentiment remains true. Too old for tech

30 hit hard! Got COVID! Lost a pregnancy! Bought a van and paid it off! Moved back to my home state! Moved into a rental house that had a tub that leaked into theliving room and it didn't get fixed for 4 months! Got my first walker and wheelchair! High school reunion...yeah I'm unemployed and disabled but don't qualify for either so I just say "Cat Mom" and what my spouse does.

This was so fun to watch!! I definitely feel the same as I’m getting older, seems like it’s not much of a big deal as it used to be. But since me and my mom are 1 birthdays apart, I always make it a point to spend with her and my family. I hope that stays the same for many many years to come

Honestly at the age of 11 I was pretty much done celebrating my birthday, I thought it was stressful, noisy, tiring, and that there were too many people. I knew I was as introvert from a pretty young age 😅

Trey, I love you as my brother in Christ. I laughed all the way up until the 80th birthday. 😭 (I'm a little sensitive. My grandmother recently passed and she was 80+.) To her credit-- she did not need her food blended... silly 🙃 Also now that I'm in the 40+ gang-- I feel like I miss college NOW, more than at 22 and 23...

I can definitely tell which ages Trey has actually lived through and which ones he is doing more guessing about. Pretty funny, but I think 50 is a stretch and 80+ is a caricature. The rest of those ages seem pretty solid.
