Really lovely app, i appreciate details like being able to drag edited song chords back to the palette. Just generally a powerful app whose interface makes it accessible and easy to learn (or re-learn)

I bought the app a couple of days ago but I only got around to trying it out this afternoon. I’ve found it fairly easy to understand and I’m well into my 60s. I didn’t grow up with computers and computer generated music, but I’ve had no problems understanding any of your apps and I have most of them. Well done Paul, keep up the good work.

I'm really having fun with this app and trying the new features. It's very easy to just pop in and just start creating. I can just pick a key, generate, tweak a bit and then throw a couple instruments into AUM and have something that sounds interesting and generates ideas in just a few minutes.

Hi Paul, In Song Mode, how do you record a bar containing 2 notoes. Example 2 beats A and 2 beats G. Or 3beats A and 1 Beat G. I'm trying to make my own backing track of old songs and sometime an A chord prorogressing to a G sus within a Bar.. Thanks and this Apps really inspired me to try making backing tracks of old songs again. More power to you.

How can I Ableton link and have it sync Start/Stop commands?

Since this is an AUv3 it relies on the host app for this, you can't use it as a standalone and achieve this.

is there a way to loop a group like 4 times and then loop a new group 2 times and then loop the first group again? so you don't repeat a bunch of chords going between verse and chorus?

Yes, see my next video on Song Construction mode. It shows how to breakdown a song into parts, and then build the song using a conductor track.

Still can’t get it to work in Nanostudio 2 which is a pain because that’s the only DAW I use so it’s either a setting or just won’t work with it I’ve spent abou 3 hours on and off trying different things…..totally useless to me unless I can get it to work

It’s annoying that the key note HAS to be in the first field etc. I’d rather see it somewhere else in the UI and the song mode integrated: Cumbersome.

There is always someone willing tp complain without having watched all my videos first. Checkout the Song Construction mode and tell me that isn't the easiest way to construct songs. If you watched earlier videos showing why the chord palette is constructied this way using algorithms rather than simple lookups you would understand this is not for song construction.
