I have major issues with 24/7 tension and stress, often to the point where it feels like an electric current is in my bones and im vibrating with it. My mental health is real bad. I have done this meditation almost every morning for 1-2 weeks now and it has saved my mornings. I usually wake up in fetal position, tense, grinding my teeth, heart racing. Its gone so far that I fear going to bed because I am terrified of my morning anxiety. This meditation has helped me so much. I've added on to it so I force a yawn with every breath, and relax the tension when the yawn..crests? (English is not my 1st language) and it has helped my body relax so so much. So thank you for making this video. It has meant a lot to me and my recovery♡

That’s amazing, I’ve had a very similar realization recently, my dad and his side of the family have tons of health problems, but recently I’ve realized that a lot of the health problems I’ve got from him just stem from anxiety (which he and his side of the fam has a ton of too, they just don’t acknowledge it). Very glad I’m living in a time that acknowledges and treats the mental side of health more properly 😊

It’s also making me realize why so many damn health issues have anxiety and/or depression as causes lol

Was given this reccomendation by my therapist. Really helpful. Also to all my fellow mates who are maybe having a hard time today. I hope we get through this. I know we will get through it. It will pass. Just the fact that you're here trying to get better means you're already set on the healing journey. I'm proud of u ❤

My psychiatrist recommended PMR for me. It’s been helpful. I feel like with doing this regularly plus reading Dr. Burns’ When Panic Attacks has helped myself to have less panic attacks, especially ones that last for multiple hours! Thank God! 😊❤️🙏

I am working on a Certification for Complex Trauma/Complex PTSD. We just learned about these trauma release exercises. The voice is so soothing and allows you to relax. I did this and was so relaxed I nearly fell off my chair 💜 I am now sharing these with my clients as a way to release tension and trauma from their bodies which will eventually help with dysregulation and mind change and mind control.

As someone with PTSD and was directed to these types of exercises. Her voice is too intense and makes me anxious. She's too quick and not soft speaking enough. Like an order

do you have any other recommendations for KZbin video exercises like this one that would be helpful for trauma survivors?

You do not start from the feet and go up. This creates a sensation of being choked or drowning. People with trauma should find a PMR exercise that starts with the head.

For a pre-sleep relaxation, I think it would be better if it was slower and calmer. Your voice is quite energetic and that kinda hase a waking a person up. But this one isn't for sleep huh? Do you have one that is for sleep?
