As a Locomotive Engineer, I'm grateful that the new cabs brought back the teardrops that are angled. I couldn't stand the rectangular vertical paned windows, they caused glare something fierce. the interior design changes, especially desk space is welcomed as well. I look forward to possibly getting one of these in the future for cold weather testing on BNSF like GE did last winter.

EMD was always my favorite, and will forever be my favorite. They put the Haul, in Overhaul. I want to see more EMD’s in the future, or just more EMD’s over GE units. Gets pretty boring after a while.. Keep up the work guys. You’re doing great, and you’re a dream company of mine.!

Hope EMD wins over GE , their SD80 and SD90 has in some cases outsold the Dash8/Dash9 , they do make better diesel locomotives, if i had a Railroad idd buy EMD anyways bc theyre simply relieable and run even if dont got cash for minor maintenance

These Locomotives were used for Union Pacific & CSX. Originally BNSF was originally going to use them but BNSF declined to use the T4 SD70ACe Units

EMD needs to fill the industry space that is missing, the 4 axle switching and general service engine. The world is running out of them and no ones making one.
