You had an inner sense to keep hunting through the blinding fog and continued in faith, the hunter had prayed for success, against all expectations the fog lifted at just the right moment, you located the trophy ram, the shot was true & a lifelong dream was fulfilled. How can any listener now say that there is no God?

Now that is a great story with an awesome ending! I know too well that feeling of KNOWING your intended game is right over the next hill or in a coulee without seeing it. People who have hunted with me get kinda weirded out when I tell them "I can feel it." and I have yet to 'feel it' without the game being there.

Steve, I love to hear you tell your experiences! Your detail, your passion and yet your compassion for those and things around you. Your awesome. I feel as though I know you. Great story Steve. Your telling of it, the absolute possibility of failure ever present and you listened to your gut. That feeling that made you persevere to complete the task in spite of the fog, the rain, not knowing where they were on the side of the mountain, yet you stalked them using the limited information available to the ultimate in perfect endings. That’s what makes you the world class guide you are. Well done sir. Very well done.

I’m so glad that I have found you and your videos, the way you take your viewers step by step through the hunt, I’m personally not a hunter, but I do know how vital hunters are in the grand scheme of things/nature, I also know that it’s not just for sport, you’re taking the meat so the animal didn’t die in vain!!! Anyway, if you ever need someone to type your stories, I’m your gal!!! Hahahaha

Funny thing is, the people listening to this story who are not hunters may have difficulty understanding the emotion, the work, sacrifice and suffering that goes into these type of hunts. I'm an armchair sheep hunter, but I do hunt elk in the Rockies of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, the Cascades and Idaho. Great story, I was getting emotional just listening to it! Thanks Steve..

Hey man, I love your videos. Inspiring stuff. However, the reason I love them is because it feels like im around a fire with a seasoned hunter. The music sometimes ruins it for me because your stories are genuine and exciting enough to leave the music behind. I know how hard it can be to keep things as simple as possible but my favorite videos of yours are just you talking to the camera with no frills.

The voice or feeling you had that told you or gave you guidance was the Holy Spirit! Jesus Christ and his Holy Father wanted you to take this huge ram, you said it yourself, no way should you have hiked thru the heavy fog, several other comments you made indicated that you should not have continued forward motion, you did and suddenly the fog lifted? what are the odds? You are a good man, you help others, you are a motivator, not a condescending ass. You bring good to every hunt that you guide. I am a faithful Christian, good things come to those that lift others up. Sure we have bad times, but in general, miracles happen, this hunt resembled a miracle for several mentioned points. Keep being the good guy and good will come your way Mr. way to go!
