In case anyone hasn't said it yet - THANK YOU - thank you for filming your day, thank you for taking us along the ride, thank you for being real and honest about your day. I think when you say things like "the noodle soup was a 5/10" - makes me feel totally normal....cause I try to get my inspiration from you, but there are days when dinner doesnt come out as good as I hoped, and I think "Pro Home Cooks would have done better" - but I realize that you are human too! Thank you for being you! (p.s. I made your Teriyaki sauce for the 2nd time and I doubled the batch and it came out FANTASTIC!!!! a 10/10 in my books!!!!! thank you!!!!)

Hey Mike, just a heads up from a sustainability person in case you didn't know this: most rainwater around the world has relatively recently been discovered to contain harmful PFO & PFOA chemicals (also known as forever chemicals) that unfortunately also build up in soil and plants growing in that soil. I don't know what kind of a filtration system you have hooked up to your rainwater tank, but if you're really planning to use that for gardening purposes I'd highly recommend running it through an activated charcoal filter before watering food crops. You don't want to give your family inadvertent chemical build-up that could come back to cause health issues later down the line.

16:09 your kids have such a cute kitchen, why don't you teach them that part of kitchen play is cleaning up and putting away. Because in real life, when I go to bed, the kitchen doesn't automatically reset it self, so when I wake up, there's a perfect place to make a new mess... which is what you are teaching. (Don't worry in my world toys were magically purged. I still have clothes from high school days.) And no! They aren't too young. My son was setting the table at 3... with supervision of course. It teaches left and right, as well as fine motor skills. ... Even your younger one can put legos in a basket. It also builds fine motor skills. 💖🌞🌵😷

Love your content! Really interesting to see behind the scenes… great second house/studio/garden … I’m sure that’s all expensive but it’s SO COOL and much better to separate work and the family home. I think the expense will be worthwhile in the long run and you have endless possibilities there with the chickens and garden! You could teach kids cooking classes there and include the garden in that. YT is probably more profitable but it’s an idea for someday! I sent this to my friend who’s middle schooler son wants to be a chef! Love this video. It's so nice to see behind the scenes and how dedicated you are to Pro Home Cooks and your family. Love the studio! I want one now! LOL The garden is spectacular. My only questions is who plays the piano? lol Looking forward to more content in 2024.
