@@hxhdfjifzirstc894well, they cost over a hundred dollars, and take up quite a bit of cabinet space (and even more space on the countertop as they need room to “flip”) so buying “a ton” of the waffle makers wouldn’t make sense economically, or in terms of efficiency, which are the prime reasons for meal prepping in large quantities (other than diet/nutrition) and other than some keto recipes, I’m not seeing this as a huge diet friendly kitchen gadget. It’s doesn’t take that long to cook, if someone want to make 4-6 it would take probably 30ish minutes.

I live in the UK. Never heard of the McGriddle. Want! (Been having too many McD's breakfasts lately, hehe). Long time viewer BTW. I used to watch you and your bro back in the day 🌿

Since I’m from America I love the McGriddle, it’s my favorite thing on their menu. But I’ve heard multiple people from England say they hated the McGriddle. So proceed with caution I guess

All you'd really need is a breaded chicken breast patty, maybe some gravy or an egg, or maple syrup (one question, though; would you put the syrup on the outside or the inside?).
@abadgurl2010
@abadgurl2010 3 ай бұрын
You could. Just make the chicken in advance but make sure there's no bones, and then make sure to have syrup on hand too.

You make the chicken in a white sauce. Put it inside and outside the finished waffle.

I have 2 of them. I bought 1 for my niece, then another 1, but at a higher price… there was a price increase. She entertains a lot and a very active and close family. It takes at least 6 to 7 minutes each. By the time the last person gets 1bit would be over an hour. The 2 of them, 2 children and their wives, 2+4=6 then add grandchildren another 3.5 (1 baby), 2+4+3=10….. at the time the baby was only a few months old. She loves it.

no just use premade waffle mix it comes in a box you can get it for 5 dollars and all you need to add to it is water plus bacon and eggs takes a max of 10 mins to cook and the stuffler takes about 10-15 mins so only around 23 mins of work for something that isn't just premade refrigerated ingredients thrown together at Mcdonalds

I think you should mix the berries in cream cheese, flatten it, and freeze it. Cut them into circles using a mason jar, and then layer a couple of them in the waffle batter. I think making that way will keep it more solid and still evenly cook the waffle. Idk if it will work, but worth a shot.

I appreciate that it's not a super niche gadget. Ignore the extra ingredients and it's just an extra thick waffle iron. If you don't have a waffle iron, this could replace your normal purpose and just give more options for the same gadget potentially.

I have the same thing, and to get the sweet stuff consistent, you have to really drain the fruit and if it's a jam or jelly, only use a little bit.

When I'm making fruit pancakes I like to press the fruit into the mix as it's cooking. My ideas when you pour the battery in that is when you want to press in the fruit and mix the jelly into the batter on the top layer. Then add like cream cheese or something.
