@@hxhdfjifzirstc894well, they cost over a hundred dollars, and take up quite a bit of cabinet space (and even more space on the countertop as they need room to “flip”) so buying “a ton” of the waffle makers wouldn’t make sense economically, or in terms of efficiency, which are the prime reasons for meal prepping in large quantities (other than diet/nutrition) and other than some keto recipes, I’m not seeing this as a huge diet friendly kitchen gadget. I just tried them this weekend, and I know what you mean about wanting to hate it. It's so cluttery, it takes up so much room... and it makes the best waffles you've ever had.

I appreciate that it's not a super niche gadget. Ignore the extra ingredients and it's just an extra thick waffle iron. If you don't have a waffle iron, this could replace your normal purpose and just give more options for the same gadget potentially.

and you could also make just a thick waffle too, this makes my brain happy

That stuffed waffle looks like it’s a breakfast menu item from a alternate universe McDonald’s

I have the same thing, and to get the sweet stuff consistent, you have to really drain the fruit and if it's a jam or jelly, only use a little bit.

When I'm making fruit pancakes I like to press the fruit into the mix as it's cooking. My ideas when you pour the battery in that is when you want to press in the fruit and mix the jelly into the batter on the top layer. Then add like cream cheese or something.

Oh yeah I have one of these!! It's wonderful!!! Careful with things like jams and such though, it's LAVA inside even after giving it a minute

I wish i knew about this thing when i was an alcoholic. Breakfast sandwiches are the perfect hangover cure. A waffle sammich would have been so good.

The key is to freeze your wet stuffing first. Changed the game for me with cream cheese pancakes.

Oh, also, I think that's pie filling on the box. It does work extremely well with pie filling.
