I started playing Forge due to your videos. You need to head to one of the capital cities. You can buy a permanent heart from each capital and take part in an arena. I went to white Arena and got a set of gold boots that gave +hp and extra movement. Big power jump.

From my light experience playing the game, the quests eventually drag you to one as a quest, but I was curious if each area had one or if it was unique to the blue area where I was taken....haven't gone to others since I kinda figure the quests will bring me there.

This game is amazing. I've never been able to play MTG like this before, exploring every deck idea I've ever had. In real life and MTG arena it's just too expensive. It's a whole new, beautiful world of card synergies.

You can select "track quest" in your Quest Menu (press Q) and you will get an arrow pointing you to the town to turn in your quest.

24:21 Culling of the Weak. It’s an instant. You sacrifice a creature to add four black mana to your account. It’s actually pretty good for a delirium deck. *Still* not shifting to constructed. Yoh have the cards to make a decent 60 card deck.

I downloaded this game after watching a few videos and as someone who never really got into Magic because a)price b) Yugioh and c) ADHD, its super fun getting to play with all the cards even if I do spend most of my time currently going from town to town to look at artwork. I always loved MTG's artwork which sucks because Wizard are interested in AI slop. At least the old stuff looks cool.

It's so much more fun now that you're winning! I struggled a lot with the earlier videos where you had a weak starter deck and puny HP. The Draft was super fun to watch and now your deck is so much cooler! Love this, keep it up!

Loving this series. I have played forge for a few years and got into magic entirely from your shandalar videos. Now i watch a few magic channels and love the game. Complex yet somehow easy to understand. Hope we see a full playthrough!

Your shout at the Hive is the most troubled I've seen or heard anyone being over a 10-mana 1/1 🤣 Also, if you want player equipment, look for the shops with a single diagonal sword on the sign. I believe they're always next to Inns if you're at a normal town. Capital Cities have a different layout and way more shops, as well as a Smith where you can spend Gold or Mana to craft a card pulled from a filter you give it.

I'm pretty sure he's intentionally ignoring the gear shop. He went in once early in, and has never visited that shop since, despite the listings *directly showing they raised his life total*. So yeah, he's viewer interaction farming.

I'm a little jealous how much success you are having now with the "delerium" deck. I did a draft as well but it wasn't a booster draft it was some kind of "pick a deck from amongst these decks then go" draft. I went undefeated with it even though because of some UI glitchiness it wasn't even the deck I wanted but because I had no hand in making it I feel kinda dirty beating the random encounters with it.

This green black deck works Amazingly well. I think if you literally just get a few more black green lands you'd be winning Most of your matches (which you already Are). Also, get equipment! Now that you have the gold! Hopefully Jared finds the equipment shop in the next few episodes.

MY FORGE WORKS! And I instantly got smacked by a Minor Demon! Joy! Also cant wait for when this game gets a 'proper' story/adventure mode and we're on episode 481. I could watch this nonstop easily. In fact, with my YTPremium trial, its one of 2 series I have downloaded next to the King's Quest series. :D

While I'm super happy about that bc I love seeing you experience the game, there's also the dread of wondering if any of the advice from previous episode comments will ever be implemented. Speaking of, why don't you use the sell feature at the town inns? You'd have a lot more money if you sold off your bulk

I started playing MTG Forge because of you Jared! =) Can I ask you to show how you set up your Settings some time? For you cards always show up when you collect rewards or enter shops, while I have to enter a shop, exit it and enter it again for the images to load up. I'm just curious if I've enabled something that does this. I've tried experimenting with all the toggles, but nothing has fixed it, so you're my best comparison right now. =D

Should you wish to prevent cards from the playtest set from appearing in the shops, edit forge/res/adventure/config.json by adding DA1 in the restricted editions - these are artless cards with silly names and even more jarring effects - such as "The Belligerent and Useless Island" around 20:37

Oh my god, I loved Takklemaggot as a kid. It is a lot of words, and I'm not even sure if it's a particularly good card since it destroys you just as much as it destroys the opponent. I just thought it was a fun card to use because of the ensuing chaos it could potentially create. Especially if there's a lot of weak creatures on the field, and each player is trying to avoid being the last one to wind up with the Takklemaggot.

Have you ever played the Magic the Gathering: Battlemage? The creators attempted making a real time strategy game while staying to the original mechanics as close as possible. A tip, Serra Angel is completely broken and will win you the game almost instantly if you summon it.
