Looking for a bit of traction through Nolan's at the 2/3 mark... was it a relief to finally find some?

Yes, it was a bit scrabbly climbing out of the deep!

How much water is entering the cab on these deep crossings?
@austimages5 жыл бұрын
Just slightly damp carpet inside the back doors after Nolan's. Was dry by the next day.

No, didn't really get any water inside. Carpet near rear doors got a little bit damp.

Stupid thing to do, not Latin America you have roads most places I’m sure, this isn’t a necessity. Hope fucked up vehicle, doing adverts? Fraud.

This is in very remote northern Australia, hundreds of KM from the nearest asphalt. It's actually a gazetted road, known as the Old Telegraph Track (OTT). bit.ly/capeOTT . The bypass for Nolan's Brook is a 4-hour detour. Part of the adventure travelling the 8,000km return trip to Cape York (the northernmost point of Australia) is driving the OTT. Preparing for and coping with the challenges that go with it. I did need to install a new starter motor after driving back home to Sydney, but other than that, the LandCruiser is still performing brilliantly, thanks for asking.
