This has been their lie for decades. Yeah, half my extended family are the product of single parents, and yet, none are in prison. Certainly no more than those born in married homes ended up addicted, criminal, or drop outs. As a single parent myself, it annoys me that people make assumptions about my kid. It is harder to raise a child when you are single. It is not some kind of presage of doom. My kid is in their 30s, has a stable relationship, works, even has some college under their belt. It would be neat to do some language analysis on this document. How many times do they use loaded language just to ramp up the adrenaline of readers who don't hold their views.
