In addition, the Department of Education has sat by and watched as American education standards and performance have dropped year over year for the better part of 18 years. Lastly, the Democrat Party needs the NEA and all state level teachers unions to shill for Democrats every election cycle. Any fair minded American should insist that politics be taken out of this department, budgets for pet projects should be slashed, and the entire focus moving forward must be on creating schools that are safe from intruders, safe from students who have no business attending school with civilized people, and demand that teachers keep their personal ideologies out of the classroom. I never watched the Apprentice or really ever knew anything about his jetset lifestyle, I just trusted him. There was just something about the way he spoke, what he said that I believed he was sincere. His bragging never bothered me, I guess, because I grew up around so many New Yorkers. It's just a NY attitude. I guess if you're from the Midwest, it can be startling, but it's just an attitude. A survival skill. I can't say I liked his name calling, but some of his tweets were very funny and so true. So I just connected with him. And when he won and then kept as many promises as the RINOs and Dems allowed him even my husband had to admit I was right. I generally ignore the hype and listen for the substance. Trump delivers, he stretches the truth but he doesn't lie (unlike the dems) and funny thing is he tends to be right. Love that so many others are recognizing this and getting under the big MAGA tent too. RFK Jr described MAGA best, it's worth finding and reading his tweet. Unfortunately our society has become so divided that a civil discussion between two citizens who have differing political ideals is basically impossible. The problem I'm finding is that the two sides of the political aisle have different core ethics and morals. People on both sides truly believe that voting dem or rep is the morally superior choice. It's like putting a Muslim and a Jew in the same room to discuss religion. There will be no fruitful discussion, only talking past each other into oblivion. If the American people cant learn to find a middle ground then the end result of this will be further division until either one side overtakes the other by political force or the country divides into multiple pieces like the Roman Empire. It will no longer be a United States.

Unfortunately the Left and Right truly are incompatible at a fundamental level. There is no middle ground. There can be no compromise.

that is exactly what they want. if we fight each other we don't have time to hold the real criminals accountable. my dad put it well; "the two party system doesn't work. Imagine a company that had a two party system. they would figtht all the time and nothing would get done." nothing is by accident.

My daughter attended school for 21 years. Child Dev, Kindergarten, 12 years reg. school, and 8 years in college. Yes, she is very far left now. We can NOT talk about politics. I once asked her how was Trump racist...she replied, "Charlottesville". She has started her own counseling business and is doing great. I simply wish she wouldn't vote...

I don't find supporters of each side having different core ethics and morals. I find many have very rudimentary core ethics and morals, and are full of hypocrisies. So they cling to parties (or sides in the culture wars) for guidance. This is why people are observing the shallow of both sides solving moral quandaries with authoritarian bombast, and everybody so buried in groupthink they often clown themselves when they're drawn off script. Back when media meant television you weren't expected to pose politically fashionable just to maintain a social circle.

There is evidence of a connection. "Trump also spoke highly about the group's plans at a dinner sponsored by the Heritage Foundation in April 2022, saying: 'This is a great group, and they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do and what your movement will do when the American people give us a colossal mandate to save America.'”

That doesn’t mean he even read it dude. It’s the Heritage foundation. They’re always releasing documents.

@@heelsidehero7581 According to the article anyway it does seem to have been in reference to Project 2025 (that's what the article is about, then the article says "Trump also spoke highly about the group's plans..."). I suppose you're technically right that I can't prove Trump read it but this definitely elevates the concern to something above a baseless conspiracy theory and media invention like Warren was suggesting. I doubt Warren was aware of this information to be talking the way he was talking in this video. If I'm wrong Warren can correct me but unless that happens I will continue to doubt it. Anyway, now you know about it, if it doesn't make you any more likely to think there's a connection then I guess it doesn't but to be honest it's hard for me to understand how that's possible. It's clearly relevant information.

@@Anonymous-q3b If I did believe this article without a name, which I don’t because people online are liars, the second part to this is: now show me a part in project 2025 that they haven’t taken out of context and lied about. Warren just showed many examples of them straight lying and I don’t trust that it even says what they say it does.
@Anonymous-q3b2 ай бұрын
@@heelsidehero7581 Yeah sorry about the no link/name, the reason for it is that when I did initially share the link the comment was censored so I just decided to share only a quote as an experiment to see if that wouldn't be censored and it worked. If you google the quote it should be the first thing that comes up. But it's a mainstream media source so if you have already determined they may be lying about anything they say there's really no point looking it up I guess. I still think Warren would have mentioned this one way or another or would have at least spoken about the topic differently if he was aware of this and so probably is not aware, but he can correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe I'll take some time at some point and see if I can find direct footage of or at least other reporting on the event to get more info, if I find anything more I'll share it.

It's so much easier to condemn people on what YOU THINK they believe ... rather than on provable examples that contradict your beliefs. It gives me pause when a Kennedy supports Trump, when a prior DNC vice-chair supports Trump ... what do they know about the Dems??

Mesa, AZ closed down a continuation VoTech school by the end of the 80's. My Mt View high school course books were large! we had hundreds of choices of classes if we knew we couldn't afford college. my Sophomore year i took: Foods 1 & 2 Child Development Record Keeping along with the standard required classes Moved to O.C., CA in 1989 and my new school barely had ceramics let alone anything interesting

After hearing everyone go on about Project 2025, I decided to actually read it. As a conservative, most of it was normal conservative stuff that most conservatives would support. There were some oddities in there like "require all schools who receive federal funding to require ASVAB testing" which was a bit odd. Things like "replacing cabinet staff with loyalists" is something that many administrations already do. Bill Clinton fired every single US attorney and replace them with loyalists when he first took office. AG Eric Holder was Obama's self declared "wingman". Why in gods name would you want someone who might undermine you working there?
