Those engine mounts will be harsh. (NVH). I wud have fabricated plates to utilize the original Nissan blocks, where the weight of the engine sandwiches the mount and also allow for an overlap of mount to weld across the top of the chassis, like factory.

I've been a coded welder for longer than I care to remember: your welding is fine, even the vertical up welds. Have a look at the welds in the engine bay from manufacture, yours probably look better.

Love the fact you are using the ZF will be great on the highway in 6th and off road with the bios 1st gear. Question, the after market engine mounts may cause some harmonic vibration issues, are you better off adapting some falcon mounts?

This is going to be a tourer, Auto has the overdrive and the mate I’m building it for wants it auto, the wreck we bought had the zf in it and the patrol already was an re4 car. The Gu I’ve previously done was manual, who doesn’t like a challenge 😃

Fuck what people think of your welds bro iv got guys coming in everyday claiming there the best asking 40 plus an hr that can't lay a bead to save there lives laying dog shit welds claiming there qualified no one can judge your welds but you brother looking good tho
