I can't believe this. I am literally thinking about buying an sxf for $800+ cheaper than an XCF and doing the conversion. You guys rock, best timing for me possible.

I'm not sure I would go that route. The $800 will be gone in the rear wheel and the big tank. Still leaves the kickstand, the mapping, gearing, and suspension to deal with. Unless I found a great deal on a used sxf that needs to be redone anyways.

@@cruisesuski1280 No doubt. I have considered getting an SX and just doing the tank ($300-$325), leave the rear wheel a 19. I am 190 so the suspension stock is fine actually and xact fork is pretty adjustable. And likely add a sprocket change to bring it down a bit, leave mapping. The kickstand is a tough one though. I am assuming the sxf frame doesn't have the mounting tab that the xcf uses on their stocker stand. Bummer.

I have a 2013 XC-F 250 and want to make it more MX. What changes should i make ?

19” rear wheel, drop a tooth or 2 on the rear sprocket, remove the kick stand, mx fuel tank. Exhaust of your choice. Done

Thoughts on 2018 frame vs 2019 frame Pingree?? Anything stand out? I have a 2018 300xc and love it, haven't tried the 19/20 frame though yet.

I have a 20 frame and It feels great! Very predictable, precise, and I just point the bike where I want to go and 99 times out of 100 it does it
