I am abusing PC2 for months now and I whenever I come here to see what other people think I noticed that they expected a lot more... They complain about washed colors in certain day time and weather, which is actually just as in real life but they did not pay attention... There are some AI issues and some small things and details that will not be noticed by most of SIM racers, but this is a SIM, a GAME and not a real life, they need to start from that fact. They would be 100% satisfied with the game only if the game is so good that it works and looks better and feels more real than in real life, which will never happen, obviously... Since I think that the game is fck-awesome and it is as close to the real world as it can get in the game, this is the only objective and down-to-earth PC2 review I stumbled upon.

I have a problem with setups: Every time I try to save it into a new spot it tells me to enter the name, I do, and then it just sets me back to enter name. So, I can only save setups by deleting the previous one which is massively annoying if you work on a setup quite long

looking for your other vids on pcars2 are you still using sim? i have a g29 wheel with ricmotech load cell mod & spring swaps red bushing from t300 loadcell mod have that too. makes a huge difference in brake accuracy.

Roc Kizer Better than having 10 year olds thinking that their playing need for speed and making their Ferrari a bumper car when they do not know how to take a corner correctly or do not know how to brake correctly 😂 the game is pointless with a community like that. Was using authentic the first few days of playing but found that it cut power even when it TC was set at 100% so played about with it, now I just Race with driving Assists on full but turn everything off so I can turn it on or off easily through the car management menu

Depends on what spec PC people have. A quick glance at the Steam hardware survey shows you just how many gamers have systems not capable of making PC2 look as good as a PS4 or Xbone.

This is the ONLY true racing game out there. Different racing teams, leagues, random weather and you get to climb up the racing ladder to compete in the pinnacle of motorsport - WEC that leads up to the 24 Hour at Le Mans....Brilliant for some one like me who wants a proper racing game with genuine race tracks. I still enjoy driving for different teams / leagues on the 1st game as I've got my 24 Hour at Le Mans to compete in so I'm really looking forward to owning this game. Think i'll get it when I buy my XBOX-1X

Check out for projectcars2-drifting from my videos. I have better setup settings for Radbull than SMS's own tune-up. I mean I have changed the tyres, suspension, turbos a little to get better to handle :)

Unless you want to go full bonkers with expensive gfx card, there's no real gain to be had. Also updating windows is a pain in the ass. He seems to be a sort of casual fit so console it's a good fit. Economically speaking it could be a good decision to get a pc being modular by design, but that's ultimately it's decision. Stop telling people what to do

WE thought Assetto was below average. Graphics were bad and driving physics were average as well. Each to their own.

+MotiveDVD Did you play it on PC or Console? Granted, the graphics aren't as good as PC2, but if you play it on PC you can crank up a lot of settings to get the most out of it. I also find the physics much better too. The steering response feels more direct and natural, especially when the back end comes out. I spent over an hour trying to tweak the FFB options on PCars2 and no matter what it always felt like a compromise between surface detail and car weight. At default everything feels too exaggerated so I turned down some of the sliders which made the forces acting on the car more natural, but you lost road surface detail and felt like you were on ice. So I turn some of them back up and turned the gain down and which brought back the road surface detail but you lost all sense of weight in the car. I just couldn't get it to feel right. Then you have the issue of sense of speed. I tried the Time Attack Evo on the French coast course, the one you tried the McLaren on and going down the highway at 170mph felt no different than going 70mph. The gears went up and so did the numbers, but the road surface and scenery all seemed to be at the same speed. In Assetto you can actually see the road surface and everything around you going quicker the faster you go as shown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXenZIJ5aK-KbdE Then you have drifting. I'm quite an avid drifter on Assetto but no matter what I couldn't catch the car if the back end stepped out in PCars2, especially in Mad Mike's MX5. Someone ported the Radbul over to Assetto Corsa and I can drift it fine because the wheel behaves how you would expect it to when going sideways, but no amount of countersteer or throttle modulation catches the drift in PCars2. As you can see, I'm no stranger to drifting either: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKPcnYB8baqja8k Overall I find the driving in PCars2 to be quite fake and I'm using a Fanatec CSW V2 servo with a Sparco R215 wheel, Fanatec V3 pedals, Fanatec Clubsport Handbrake and a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter.

Ro-Tang Clan I found the physics on AC decent, although a bit wonky on lower speeds. The understeer is heavily overdone, tyre flex seems a bit simplistic as well. And the cars lose grip too easily, even on optimal conditions. Especially on street tyres. Kind of reminds me of iRacing's grip levels on some of the worst cars on that game. Not a big fan of the force feedback either, a lot of the feedback feels baked in, to make the car seem more lively than it should be. I've driven an EvoIX, and even though my only comparison for that car in AC are mods, it's not great. Pc2's version of it gets closer to real life.

the wheel is perfectly fine, I don't know what wheel should he get, considering that if you want something "better" you need a DD, also pro Sim racers rarely use expensive gear, rather they still use beat up G27s. So yeah, logitech wheels are not on the best side of things compared to thrustmasters but it's no bad wheel, and the previous models showed impressive durability.
