Only racing title i ever played that really felt right driving in the wet was the game Supercar challenge. They nailed the the way cars handle in rain. I played many other racing titles and none of them got the feeling right.

are you using magic tyres? It lookes like you can lush just as hard in the rain and you dont have to take a middle line. Rain is a cool visual effect but comon it needs to have more impact on grip.

best part is no aquaplaning on those huge... lakes... that form on the track. they're entirely cosmetic and have no actual impact on grip.

Jyrki Ylinen He is playing in 4k and it doesn't say his frame-rate anywhere that the viewer can read it. plus it's simulating rain so at higher speeds the car wouldn't have as snappy reaction to steering input, if anything it would just make you lose control.
