Project Delta Ranger - Episode 1 - Roush CAI and aFe Power scoop install by Oz Tuning.

Installation of the Roush CAI kit (part 422178) and aFe Power intake scoop (part 54-13056S) in our 2021 Ford Ranger XL FX4. These will fit the 2019-2021 model years.
Install was done in our home garage using common hand tools, and takes approximately 15-30 minutes. Ken Osborne explains the benefits of these parts as well.

So after 10 months or so can I ask did it do anything for the butt dyno or fuel economy? Did it make the turbo any more noticeable, My brother bought one for his truck and was supposed to let me know how it affected his gas milage, but we had a bit of a falling out. I'm getting approx 21 mpg on 87 octane in mine. I likely wouldnt do this as a first mod like he did, but I think he was planning on an exhaust and tune which makes more sense. Kind of sucks he had to do me dirty, this is the first time in our lives we have both had practically identical vehicles at the same time. Hes rocking a Cactus Gray 2021 Ranger xlt 4wd crew cab, 301a equipment group w/ Black package, I have an Oxford White 2022 Ranger xlt 4wd crew cab, 302a equipment group w/black package. So 50 state CARB legal, but installing the intake with NO tune, does that void Ford warranty ?

I can see you guys still have the OEM BOV valve. Do you have plans to upgrade it?

Yes. We got a GFB that we are going to install soon.

How often should it be clean? Is it a dry Filter or an oil Filter?

It is an oiled filter. Good for about 30k miles depending on your environment you drive in before it needs to be cleaned and oil replied. The cleaning kits with oil can be found at most parts houses.

Did u have any problems after doing this upgrade? Because when I upgraded to BOV and CAI My ranger went limp mode 3x and engine light and codes p2118 and P2ABD.
